Was at work today and I saw a coinstar hunter looking and found nada. I went back a bit after him AND
Silver!

Silver!
Finally scored one of these after losing auction after auction.
I did well by silver, very well and I admit it was basically luck. Mostly bought around 30-40 (cAN)and sold at peak - again not cuz I’m smart, I just called it at the time as I felt I had made gains. Why am I seeing such a negative outlook silver futures now? Feeling like it’s time to come back stacking strong at these rates. Thoughts silver experts?
Recently picked this up for $10 Saw the hallmarks and went for it even though I’m not quite sure on them. Any information is appreciated
EDIT: This is apparently a fish knife
London 1935 Harrods
I would be thankful for any advice
Marked 925 and has been tested. Its real.
Heavy. Must just be my area.
My dad recently passed away and he was supposed to fly home to Thailand the very same day he died. I have a lot of unanswered questions but was wondering if this had any cultural significance — it’s a piece of silver with some tallies etched in it.
Is this purposed for a bank or a safe and to mark every time someone accesses it? Trying to understand if this was an old school cultural practice.
My dad was Lao but grew up in Nong Khai on the border near Laos/the Mekong.
Would love someone’s perspective on this.
It’s a 925 silver pendant with marcasite, weighs 5g and is about 5cm in length.
As I added on the fourth pic there is a very tiny chip in one of the marcasite pieces if that deducts from the estimated price.
Trying to figure out what this pendant is. Can't be too old as it's marked 925 on the back. Clearly hand made.
Piece is about 2cm diameter and weighs 10g. Found at a second hand shop
Google image search claims that the symbol is either a Christian 'rho chi' symbol or a 'yaz amazigh' symbol. Though it has differences to both of these.
Any info on this would be appreciated greatly
Pretty obvious fake in hand, tested 4% silver, the rest copper. Figured I’d post a comparison for folks to see, not the greatest pics though. Luckily I noticed it and he let me keep it.
I really appreciate that this older piece was not sent to melt, which would probably have been easier to do, and sold instead for melt value - to me, who is so happy to wear it! I think this continental European necklace is likely 1930s.
Decided to do something a bit different.
.55oz of .999 silver
Have the chance to buy this bowl. I found conflicting information about the silver purity online.
