I heard this coin was a highly discussed "hot item" at the Florida United Numismatists (FUN) Show in Orlando. Although the San Francisco Mint minted a moderate 500,000 pieces, only a fraction survived govt demonetization and melting.

It weighs 6.25g and measures 24.3mm with a reeded edge.

I’m not good with identifying cleaned coins. Should I send for grading to get it certified genuine?
