Starting to loose motivation because of the two flowers on the side - not super happy with them especially the outline but I think if I persevere it might come together? (adhd is not helping)
So I’m new to historical cdrama & absolutely enamoured - I’ve always been a massive western period drama fan & am so freaking happy I’ve found this world.
My issue is that I can’t back out once I start and need to follow through to the end - it’s making me worried about what to pick next - please help!
I want something with humour & lighthearted charm, with a smattering of cool fight scenes & smouldering romance that builds up slowly. Love intriguing politics. Always want a clever/powerful/quirky/outspoken fl. I don’t want too much angst and heartbreak - tbh I don’t want to suffer for more than an episode worried that a character is in peril or a misunderstanding is going to ruin everything & need a happy ending!
Shows I have seen so far -
Pursuit of Jade was the gateway drug, I love it so much - it’s the right amount of lighthearted moments and humour, the fl was incredibly charming; slow burn romance with tonnes of build up - never too much suffering & a happy ending
The double - enjoyed lots a little slow at points and I found myself really struggle with the ongoing torture of the step mother trying to destroy her. Enjoyed the charm of her friends and the intriguing relationship with the ml. Loved the poison princess.Did not love ending at all.
Story of kunning palace - ups and downs not a fave for me too serious and not enough fun or martial arts. Satisfying happy ending though which made up for other issues.
Legend of a female general! Like Poj I loved the fl & how charming she was! Really enjoyed the martial arts and humour through out!!! Really liked the not too complicated politics too.
Currently watching blossom - gettting through but too serious for me so far.
So far I want a cross between poj & lofg - but maybe more charming humour! Must have a happy ending too!
