I already made one of these edits for the first Will Wood concert I went to where Shayfer James was the opener, so now I finished my edit for the show I went to with Human Zoo and That Handsome Devil as the openers. I did my usual smooth transitions and volume normalization to maintain consistency between the songs, but I also did some edits on the individual tracks (ex: Aphrodite, The Unpossible, Charlie's Inferno) to spice them up a bit. Fever Dream wasn't performed at the specific show I went to, but supposedly the Teaneck, NJ show had a setlist that was nearly identical with the exception of that song being removed for our show (it was literally scribbled out on one of the setlist sheets someone posted an image of). I decided to include it anyway because I liked it (it gives me Um, It's Kind of a Lot as well as general ICIMI vibes).

This is not a criticism of any of the songs or artists referenced. This is more just an interesting shower thought I've had noticing that some songs seem to unintentionally sound similar to me.

Of the songs listed above, "Aphrodite, Your Electric Sexiness" and "Living in a Motel" were ones I heard live at a That Handsome Devil show.

In the comments is a video I made of the Shayfer James setlist we got at the first Will Wood concert I went to last year. Above is the bracelet a nice fan gave me (after making too many they said IIRC) at the Huntington show. Overall, I had a great time at both shows, but the energy at the second show was something else (Will Wood, The Tapeworms, and the other acts seemed very comfortable with our audience, especially when compared to the first show I went to in NYC).

To whoever made this bracelet (and the many others that were given out), thankk you very much! It looks even cooler in person as some of the beads have an oil spill finish which didn't show up on the camera super well.

I went to the Huntington SELF-iSH Tour show on Sunday and I'm trying to remember Human Zoo's setlist. Can anyone confirm if I remember the setlist order correctly? I think it was the following:

Please let me know if I'm missing one or if I got the order wrong. I'm hoping to make a video on the two openers (on the MyPeculiarFlavor channel) and the That Handsome Devil setlist on the setlist.fm website seems accurate from what I can recall. Additionally, I'm also planning on making a Shayfer James setlist video based on the Mr. Wood is Dead (Tapeworms) concert I went to last year.

It is quite the time to be a Neil Cicierega/Lemon Demon and Will Wood fan. Dinosaurchestra celebrates its 20th anniversary and View-Monster recently celebrated a 16th anniversary. Spirit Phone turned 10 this year just like how SELF-iSH will be doing next month. To celebrate these milestones, I've decided to finally make an album edit idea I've had floating around for a few months. A bit over a year ago, I went to see Will Wood perform live on a 10th anniversary tour (Mr. Wood is Dead) for his Everything is a Lot album. I will be going to see him again for the SELF-iSH 10 year anniversary tour which is due to start soon. To get into the spirit (phone), I decided to make this album which reimagines the concert I went to using Lemon Demon songs instead of Will Wood songs. Considering that Will Wood and Neil Cicierega are confirmed to literally be the exact same person (source: Life in The World to Come), this just feels right. Also, I did some editing with the volume mixing and song transitions to make the edit as smooth as I could manage.

For a while the crossbar lock became popular to use on budget knives once the Axis Lock patent expired (we also saw a similar thing with top liner locks in the last few years with the expiration of the Compression Lock patent). Additionally, it seems that locks which can be used like the crossbar lock with and without the omega springs are also becoming more common place now, but many of them are just barely in or only outside of the budget range. What I'm curious about is if SRM will ever revisit this coil spring lock mechanism. The knife in the video doesn't seem that popular, but I think SRM could see a big success if they were to revisit this mechanism on new budget knives in this day and age. Given that they were able to reach a very low price point with this locking mechanism back then, I believe they could reasonably produce an updated design with it under $75 even accounting for cost increases and perhaps slight material upgrades (ex: G10 and D2 for instance).

I'm surprised I have yet to see someone put the INTERMISSION TIME scene to BRODYQUEST from The Nature Tapes by Lemon Demon. Maybe it's due to Brodyquest being much longer (to the point that I needed to add footage from other episodes to make it work without becoming too repetitive).

I really like the bridge part of While My Keytar Gently Weeps, so it felt weird to not hear it again at the end of the song. I decided to see what it was like to add it onto the ending and I like it. Something about about having a third bridge section at the very end just feels right to me for this song.
