What in the world is with Victor?
Me and my friend have been playing a lot lately and we’ve seem to have noticed a trend. Victor is in like… every single match. He’s not particularly difficult to deal with early game if you play right. We win some matches against him we lose some. We both have a pretty good understanding how to work against him specifically but that doesn’t make playing against him anymore fun. His existence in the match practically shuts down certain play styles and characters completely. Again, not saying there aren’t work arounds, it’s just so annoying at this point. It’s to the point that we both have Victor set to avoid and it didn’t even matter. We set that brain dead little bastard to avoid and got him in basically ten matches in a row. I am seriously a little tired of playing against this dude. He’s just genuinely a pain in the ass and that’s it.
The part that sucks is you don’t get souls (From what I’m aware of) from killing him if he revives with his ult. I had a match where I was playing Silver against a Victor. Easy win. Stay just outside of his aura, bola when he closes a little too much distance, boot kick if you have to. If ult procs just play cooldowns. Lunge, tail sweep, bite, pull back. Easy. But I end up doing this and killing him like 6 times. Both times they had rejuv so this dude comes back TWICE instead of just once and I got no souls for my efforts except the final kill.
I’m just confused as to what the hell is gonna be done about this guy? He just legitimately sucks to play against and takes the fun out of a match for me with me being primarily an up close or dive character. Which yeah, I get being mad at a character for performing their job correctly is a little dumb. But characters such as Abrams or Billy and others are so much more of engaging and fun to play against tanks than “Walk at the enemy and they hopefully die and if I die oh well I’ll just come back”
