Any original Bid For Power (DBZ Quake 3 MOD) contributors hang out around here?

Bid For Power has been mentioned previously:

https://www.reddit.com/r/gaming/comments/138zrja/bid_for_power_a_quake_3_dragon_ball_mod_from_the/

But I'm curious if anyone that worked on the project, or knows someone who did, is around. I wish I could prove it, but I was reached out to by the team (I specifically remember someone named Eclipse, who last I remember got hired to work on mobile games: 2004-2006) to provide head models for characters before the cease and desist. The last model I worked on was SSJ3 Gotenks (never saw the light of day publicly). I don't remember the animators name, but I remember associating him to Gundam (either profile name or picture in the forums). I just wonder what they're up to now adays!

Are you concerned that midterms almost always go against the current president?

I just learned there's only been three times the midterms were in favor of the current president's party (1934 FDR Democrat (first term), 1998 Clinton Democrat (second term), 2002 Bush Republican (first term)). Meanwhile, we've had 12 consecutive presidents (more recently Obama, Bush, Clinton, and Regan), and two nonconsecutive presidents (Cleveland and Trump).

Do you believe the trend will continue?

Why do you think your belief will be true?

What do you think will be the outcome? Currently, all 435 House and 33 Senate seats are up for election.

The house is currently:

218: Republican

213: Democrats

1: Dependent

3: Vacant (2 Democrat, 1 Republican)

The seats available in the Senate are:

22: Republican (7 retiring, 2 lost renomination)

13: Democrat (4 retiring)

What are your thought's about the traditional lifestyle and women involved in the workforce, politics, media, etc.?

(Up front, my understanding of the traditional lifestyle is that a woman's role is to maintain/manage/run the household/etc.. A man's role is provide financial/physical security/manual labor/etc. Let me know if I'm already off in my assessment.)

Something I have trouble wrapping my head around is watching videos, especially of conservative women, promoting a traditional lifestyle. Can you help me understand?

How would you define traditional life?

What would you consider hypocritical to that belief?

Is there anything outside of the traditional lifestyle that you believe only a woman could do?

Do you agree with Trump that wind turbines are bad but data centers are good?

Trump has previously mentioned that wind turbines are loud, cause cancer, and lower property value:

https://www.facebook.com/CBSNews/videos/president-trump-says-windmill-noise-causes-cancer/307560823272768/

But recently, he has embraced data centers and says most smart people want them in their neighborhoods:

https://www.facebook.com/KCTV5/videos/trump-says-communities-that-want-ai-data-centers-are-the-smart-communities-trump/2144138129858428/

What do you agree/disagree with of his assessment?

If you had to choose between the two, which would you prefer in your community?

What parts of Umberto Eco's 14 key elements of fascism do you agree/disagree with?

A common statement I hear about non-Trump supporters is that we claim Trump/MAGA is a fascist movement. So I've been looking around to find a litmus test of what a fascist government looks like. I came across the 14 points laid out by Umberto Eco in 1995, so no Trump influence. (Wikipedia link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ur-Fascism ) What are your thoughts? For ease of reading, here is the Google version:

  • Cult of Tradition: Relying on ancient, secret truths while rejecting modern progress and science.
  • Rejection of Modernism: Hating the ideas of the Enlightenment and rational thinking.
  • Cult of Action for Action's Sake: Believing that thinking and analyzing are bad, and that action must be done instantly without planning.
  • Disagreement is Treason: Treating critical thought or different opinions as an attack or a betrayal.
  • Fear of Difference: Hating outsiders or people who are not like the group, using racism to gain power.
  • Appeal to Social Frustration: Stirring up anger among a stressed-out or lower-middle class that feels left behind.
  • Obsession with a Plot: Making followers feel trapped by imagining grand conspiracies caused by internal or external enemies.
  • Enemies are Both Strong and Weak: Portraying enemies as rich and powerful enough to control everything, yet weak enough to be easily beaten.
  • Pacifism is Trafficking with the Enemy: Believing life is permanent war, so seeking peace means helping the enemy.
  • Contempt for the Weak: Looking down on people who cannot fight back, creating a culture of bullies.
  • Cult of Heroism: Teaching that every follower should want to die a heroic death for the cause.
  • Machismo: Showing extreme toughness, shouting down weakness, and holding deep contempt for women and non-conforming sexual habits.
  • Selective Populism: Pretending to speak for "the people" as a single block, while ignoring actual parliamentary democracy and individual rights.
  • Ur-Fascism Speaks Newspeak: Using simple, limited words and phrases to stop people from thinking in complex or critical ways.

How does a Trump supporter also support someone like Bernie/Mamdani?

I've seen articles about Trump voters/supports who also support Bernie/Mamdani. I don't understand how this is possible since Trump's policies mostly are opposite to someone like Bernie or Mamdani.

Are you someone in this camp?

If not, why do you think someone could fit this description?

Current Dominos employees: How do delivery tips work?

When ordering, you're asked for a tip.

Does that tip go directly to the driver?

Is it shared with others?

Does the corporation take a piece?

What would happen if in the delivery instructions, I said "$10 tip cash" and selected no tip?
