Most of my books came recommended from a particular community, if you can guess which one I'll shit I guess
Everything is poisonous to animals!
Hi all,
Deciding to finally work on having a nice garden, so far a lot of work as we moved in late last year and the garden was horrendously overgrown with nettles and thistles and even after mowing down, we are left with thick, woody stalks everywhere!
Slowly working on that and starting to plan what we are actually planning on putting in the garden.
The amount of plants that are poisonous to dogs and especially cats is just absurd!
We have a dog and a cat, but the cat is an indoor cat so we need to avoid anything that's bad for dogs regardless but a bit torn on things that are bad for cats.
Where do most people stand on this?
Feels a bit horrible to entirely ignore the fact cats will come into my garden and harm could come to them due to the plants I choose, but I just feel incredibly restricted if I only go for things that aren't harmful.
Lavender is a big one for me, I love lavender and im a bit gutted that it appears I cannot have it!
So where do people stand on it? Free for all? Try to avoid harmful plants but include some they love? Avoid at all costs?
Any tips for my woody stalks is also much appreciated, I'm going to rip a lot up but I have a large garden and it's completely covered.. I think my game plan is to regularly cut and hopefully starve the roots out.. maybe dig out some areas heavily and plant some hardy plants in that might out compete the weeds growing too
Know nothing about these cards but had a few packs, these are what I thought were coolest!
Assume if any had any value it would be the middle 2, likely the medal card being on top. Barcelona Messi is a cool pull too
