reddit.comIs my dragon small and overweight for two years old?
It’s Sunfyre’s 2nd birthday today and I’m not sure he looks as he should. Most beardies appear way more robust than mine. Sunfyre seems small and maybe even flabby.
It really doesn’t help that he only takes rocket and dandelion. I’ve tried all four shades of bell pepper, pak choi, rosemary, basil, oregano, spring greens, mint, coriander, butternut, watercress, baby spinach, sugar snap peas, parsley, curly kale. Nope. He wants calci worms, super worms and dubias.
(FYI: His substrate isn’t sand, it’s Arcadia desert stone and it sets like clay.)
Bearded dragon setup: Mounting aquasky 2.0 to wood without a drill…
I’m paraplegic and I need to mount an aquasky 2.0 led light to the top of my wooden viv. If I have to use a drill, I will get someone to do it for me, but if there are any options I can fit independently, that’s what I would opt for first. I think even Kapton tape off gases, but I can’t find a straight answer on that. What about magnets? Cable ties to uvb? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.
My 12% Arcadia UVB light is mounted on my vivarium ceiling and I’m considering upgrading to Lumenize when it’s time to replace the bulb. I’d like a full-spectrum LED too but I’m undecided about adding a Jungle Dawn. Reviews suggest Lumenize doesn’t work well with multiple fixtures.
In the meantime, while I decide, could I get some full-spectrum LED tape and apply it to the tank ceiling around the perimeter of my hot side? Alternatively, are there any viable full-spectrum pucks that could work (the ones designed for underneath cupboards?)
Thanks!
