Hi! I'm currently a 1st year DMD student from NU MOA, and I'm considering shifting from DMD to either Dent Tech or Dent Hyg for practical and financial reasons. My long-term goal is still to pursue DMD afterward, but I'm thinking of taking Dent Tech first as a faster path that could give me earlier work opportunities and help me save money before eventually moving to a top dental school for DMD.

I wanted to ask if there are any students here who shifted from DMD to Dental Technology or Dental Hygiene. How was your experience overall?
