How do you justify it?
Like the title says, how do you guys genuinely justify spending $39+ (Canadian) on a single hijab? I have modal hijabs from other places, and the most I’ve spent on one is $16. They get me by, but I really want the Vela prints, especially the leopard, but I just can’t get myself to justify paying that much. I get it’s handmade and everything, but I still think the price is so excessive. I can’t help but feel like I’m just throwing money away or making stupid financial decisions by spending that much on a single hijab. But then the dupes just aren’t as pretty or nice as the original print.
For context, I’m in university and I have a part-time job on the side, but I just can’t convince myself that it’s worth it. Just wondering how you guys get yourself to spend that much, or if you know of people that resell Velas for cheaper or other stores that are similar would be helpful as well.
