Have I been shiny hunting in the Cobalt Coastlands for too long? Or is this a bug exclusive to playing on Switch 2?
I'm shiny hunting Magnemite via Space Time Distortions ATM so I've been in the Cobalt Coastlands for several HOURS without ever leaving at this point. I think I've been hunting in the Coastlands for approximately 10 or so hours
And lately I've been encountering Pokemon at inappropriate hours- Drifloon + Drifblim and occasionally Murkrow in daytime, Staravia/Staraptor during nighttime. Dreadwood Haunt is full of the daytime Pokemon except near the shoreline which have Drifloon and only Drifloon. It's been so long that I can't remember but I'm pretty sure Purrlion are supposed to swap with Murkrow at nighttime as well but they hang around too.
Have I somehow bugged my own game by staying in one place for too long?
Or is this an unusual bug for Switch 2 players?
The Pokemon are fine when caught. I've managed to catch 2x shiny Drifloon and 1x shiny Drifblim.
I definitely think their shiny rates are higher than other Pokemon at the moment.
But yeah...is anybody else on Switch 2 experiencing this phenomenon?
