No spoilers, I'm in the middle of episode 5 but personally I cannot believe Jack's attitude. I honestly feel like he's not serious at all. I feel horrible for Faye. I also honestly bloody love Ciara.

I think he completely lied about Ciara calling him her number one and he did try push conversations with Ciara (&Faye tbh) for reassurance. I feel like he initially chose Ciara as his number one based on sexual chemistry. He was doing alot with his first date with Faye, only to do a 180 as soon as he spoke to Ciara. I think alot of the girls noticed he just tells people what they want to hear and it's not a crime but it does come off fake.

I personally think it would have bee valid of him to change his mind on his and Ciara's relationship after Faye's date, but what was off putting after Faye's date he was still calling Ciara his number one. It was only after Ciara was off with him he changed his mind. In the off date with Ciara he was still putting in alot of effort and trying to like "prove himself", so it is weird to me for him to say he chose Faye because of their date. It seems like he chose her initially because his number one choice date didn't go as well. I do think he managed to grow his connection with Faye going forward.

I do think both Ciara and Jack came into their next date wanting to end the relationship so I see both sides there. I think they're both right in some ways.

I don't think Jack's serious about anyone, between forgetting Ciara is a vegan, forgetting Faye's name and nail colour amongst other things it's off putting. I do think he finds her stunning cause she is, I'm not sure about the attraction the other way though.

I have my doubts so far about Ciara and Ajay, I don't think their connection is that deep, I feel like it might be deeper from Ajay's side but Ajay is so gorgeous so I think the physical connection is definitely there from Ciara that she'll out more effort into making it work. I think the physical attraction is there as well from Ajay's side cause Ciara is gorgeous as well. I know people feel like Ciara is a gold digger but from personal experience I do agree that sometimes you can accept someone's potential over their immediate financial stability. I think their downfall might not be finances or physicality but incompatibilities in personalities.

The fans are getting this up in arms about the word bitch and some shady comments from Mica I fear we'll never have another season where the islanders act like normal people again.

The stans get so offended over every little thing. I appreciate Julia, Lola and Mica for not filtering and trying to pander to the audience.

I feel like I never really noticed the puritanical shift in media until this season of Love island. I agree with everyone that the season was doing a lot with the kissing at the start but I read that as people wanting more substance to the challenges and storylines rather than just kissing. The reaction I'm seeing to Kenzie though is really showing me that I've been blind though.

There's a tik Tok with 300k+ likes calling her a bop for kissing on love island? On Twitter and other platforms there's are tons of comments calling her a hoe and a man stealer. I even saw a tweet with tons of likes claiming that kenzie has been french fried by every guy in the villa. Don't get me started on the amount of people saying she's worse/ the same as Sincere and KC. I feel like not only is this kinda disproportionate reaction going to mess up how the girls move in future seasons but it's also sooo misogynistic.

To call someone a man stealer on love island where you're all supposed to date the same men is wild to me. I really like Jen but in one episode she said she can't explore here friends' men and that's why she's flopping as a bombshell. As soon as she saw Gal was not fw her she should have tried with Dylan. Not only would that be entertaining TV but that's the whole point of the show.

I feel like you shouldnt act on Love island exactly how you would outside. I also wouldn't talk to a guy my friend is interested in outside of love island but in there I 1000% would. Even with Kenzie saying that kissing is like a handshake, I agree. Within the villa it definitely is, they all were kissing outside of the challenges with their partners the first day. The girls that's stayed loyal to their men in casa still kissed the casa boys outside of the challenge to test the chemistry. Trinity had the same feeling with Bryce after she kissed Corey that Kenzie had with Dylan and Corbin vs Gal and Caleb. The kissing and exploring made them more sure that they liked their partner. The difference is that Kenzie has been forced to explore more than the other girls. The only people she's truly chosen have been Corbin and Dylan.

The worst part about all the slutshaming is that alot of it is also coming from women. You don't have to like/love or agree with Kenzie but the comments I've been seeing have been so gross.

He's on Spotify and I played it for my friend's last weekend at a party and we have all low-key been obsessed. It's house music so perfect for when I have a German unce unce feeling.

Why are solos posts about Kardashian associates (mainly stassie) allowed on here. Does that mean we can start posting updates about Hailey,Fai, Justin, Malika and Simon on here? Birthday posts, updates and anything that might be remotely Kardashian adjacent on here and other things? I don't care about Stassie on her own and her and Victorias podcast. I'm sure other people would be annoyed if we started posting about Hailey's podcasts or Simons tik toks or Malikas life.
