im just wondering what the community thinks of my small achievements rn (zoo owner and legacy wise) as none of my friends play the game
a real long while back, like two months ago, i had posted quite a bit asking for help with my Riot Grrrl paper for my English class.
i hope yall remember me! i needed sources and zines and current bands and yall freaking delivered! there was even a member of a current band, Cat Crash, that was part of this conversation and seriously- you guys delivered. that paper wouldn't have gotten done with the help of this subreddit.
i just wanted to update yall since you helped me so so much with that paper- i got full marks for it, 175/175 points!! it ended up being 15/16 pages long with an additional 4 pages of sources!
it has definitely become my favorite passion project i've done and Riot Grrrl has become my calling card in the English department lol. again, thank yall so much!

ETA: my essay 🙈🙈 people asked so i shall deliver!!! there's space to do better, absolutely, but i hope yall enjoy it as much as my professor did, and nearly as much as i do
so in July, i'm going to Texas. yes, the worst time to go, i know... but the point is i need braids. i need something to stop the overheating and sweat while im down there. i've only had braids done like three times in my life, all box braids, and im looking for something different! maybe also hair recommendations as i had a reaction to the last brand i used (synthetic)?
HERE'S WHAT'S IMPORTANT: i'm pretty sure i've got 3b, occasionally 3c, curls and i've been growing it out for two years from a buzz cut. i'm planning on dyeing it blue soon. i want braids that i can wear in a bun/ponytail without half my head looking like that baby kaely chick circa the EW song lmao
i've included the best pictures of my hair i've got- one is styled, and one is dyed, and one is from two minutes ago. i couldn't find photos of my old braids but they were like two years ago so it doesn't matter much since my face has CHANGED since then.

helloooo again!!! i feel a bit bad to be back asking for more help but ive genuinely been pouring over google for hours so im finally deciding to turn back to reddit.
i need the names of zines from the original riot grrrl movement. i've found a few but i need more!!! some random girl in my class (who might i add has made it clear she isn't a feminist) wrote a "suggestion" for me during peer review that i don't have enough examples of actual zines. i mention Riot Grrrl, Girl Germs, Bikini Kill, and Kitpaw. is that not enough? well my professor agreed that apparently not.
