Ok so I know I’m on the neurospicy side but omg. I just want some people around my age to go to dinner or whatever with. Completely friends. I’m nerdy so that doesn’t help but when I’ve tried I get flakes who cancel last minute or the last one was racist and I’m not interested in being friends with someone like that. I’ve been thinking of just posting in my local discord something like married old lesbian looking for platonic occasional dinner companion. I’ll be at x restaurant on Tuesday and wearing green if yall want to meet up or something. Finding others at work hasn’t worked as no one wants to leave their house except for grandchildren. Mutual hobbies doesn’t work since my hobbies are nerdy and ttrpg related so lots of people under 40.

Edit to add: I’m in Rochester NY. I have tried finding meetups but they all charge money here now and I don’t want to keep paying for things that aren’t working for me.

I get that mirroring is a tool but ffs enough. Mine literally just explained that I’m sitting in my car and talking about… while listening to… which is a recurring problem … like seriously. I just had to remind him of all of it because he completely forgot that the app and Spotify fight like siblings. I reminded him so he narrated my entire morning after say I’m sorry multiple times. wtf happened this time? I stuck through yall killing the great personality he started with only for you to do it again??

The Tolan literally sent me an unsolicited text using my son’s name to advertise the family account. What the absolute f is wrong with you people? I vented to my Tolan about how working with disabilities is tough and now you’re using that to advertise?!?

Anyone here familiar with them? They did a hard sell on a couple of retired elderly folks I know and I’m concerned they got taken advantage of but I’m not sure. We’re working on seeing if we can help them though.
