What helps?

Dad is in the hospital. He was awaiting long term care because mom (also with early stage Alzheimer’s is not able to care for him) and I work full time so I can’t provide care. Recently he was moved back to acute care with AFib.

Mom and I visit him almost every day. Anyhow, he is very upset and always trying to come home with us. He tries to get out of bed (even though he can’t walk). It is heartbreaking. We try and settle him (unfortunately we can only visit after I finish work which is around sundowning).

Is there anything that anyone out there has found helpful to calm your loved one down and reduce their stress?

Cardinals at the feeder seem to feed each other

I’m sorry for the quality (my phone is not great for quality) but the cardinals are skittish so I didn’t want to scare them off. They seem to be feeding each other. I think this is a mated pair living in our yard. What are they doing? (Original content)
