I relocated from Toronto to Alberta four months ago and do not have workplace health or dental benefits. I have applied for the Alberta Adult Health Benefit, submitting a letter from my doctor to confirm my need for essential medication.
My income last year was $20k, as I only worked for six months at minimum wage. With my application now filed, what are my chances of being approved for this coverage?

I’ve been SP-04 since beginning of this year at the WCCC contract till Sept 2026
I have Been offered appeals officer no contract details yet disclosed thereby I’m confused
If u were in my position what would u pick?

Also how to still stay in rehire pool for WCCC if I move to another department!?

I moved from Toronto to get this job as I had no other concrete offer.

Moved from Toronto to Calgary in February for an SP-04 role as I didn’t have a FT job then (was on a PT contract before with tech giant).

Now missing GTA since my family & friends are there. Is it possible to request an internal transfer to Ontario for the same role? What’s the process usually like?

Also opportunity-wise, is it worth moving back to GTA or staying in YYC long term for federal growth/work-life balance?

Is there any way I can request to be internally transferred to Ontario region for same role? I have my family there and wish to stay near them! Is there a possibility?
