How do renewable natural gas projects, especially in urban areas, pencil out?

I find the large wastewater treatment plant, landfill gas, and municipal anaerobic digesters for organic waste as an alternative / supplement to composting all very interesting and was wondering how these pencil out in terms of emissions and cost-effectiveness.

Is the value of the natural gas attained for local use usually not equal to cost of implementing and maintaining these versus just dumping and buying natural gas from other sources?

My impression is that these are not the usual way that wastewater or organic waste are dealt with in urban areas, less sure about landfill gas, but I'm also not sure about that.

BREAKING: China scraps annual vehicle tax exemption for some NEVs, spares battery electric passenger cars

This comes into effect in 2027.

Plug-in hybrids are already having a tough time in China and this will be a further push towards BEVs. Since this is an annual vehicle tax, I don't expect there to be a PHEV sales surge through the end of this year since that wouldn't make much sense.

Did any Amtrak service run more trains for any of the world cup games?

If so, which ones? Does Amtrak do this for special events in general?
