ICICI pru gold etf fof direct growth - 500 Thinking of, parag parikh flexi cap - 1000 Rest in a multi asset - ICICI, Quant or Nippon. Not sure which one. Or any large, mid cap or something?

Keeping the FD part aside, cause I do that. New to this mf sip thing. Also, I will start ppf for tax exemption.

Confused to take tech support offer.

I am working in a product based company, my work has dev as well as support in it. As of now, my future goal is to grow in dev only. But this new offer gives me more than 100% hike, brand name but the role is tech support engg.

What is the growth here in this role? How can I come back to complete dev if I don't like the work as my yrs of exp will go up and dev exp in CV will go down? CV selection is my main concern. Do I get view of codebase, APIs and all or is it only tool based thing?

Also, it is a night shift role. But will it be completely night shift for the whole time I'll be here?

Please help me with your insights.

Application engg vs Tech support engg with more than 100% hike

Hi, I have 2years of exp in a well known product based company. I work as an application engineer though I get to work on small development work too. Recently my company laid off and from my team all the AEs are gone except me, I got a choice of pip vs layoff. I choseppip and successfully completed it. Recently I got anoffero from another very well known reputed company of tech support engg which is giving more than 100% hike. Now, here I'm confused. I don't know what to do. 1.I don't know what if AI takes over and I lose job in support cause I don't the growth path here. 2.I don't know if I want to get back to pure dev role how to do that cause my CV will be irrelevant as a sde. Can anyone pls help me?
