Understanding the logic of buying/selling trading cards
Hi all! This is just out of curiosity. I saw a post of someone here post a Mega Gengar Ex SIR, which is one of the biggest hits. The thing is, it is Korean Language. I understand that Korean cards are not a good sell here because of the quality, as it is not on par with Japanese and English.
English sells the easiest because they are also playables, because there are actually some people who play the TCG. Japanese because of quality. Korean sells the least because of quality but it is the most affordable option for those who want to collect.
Since some vendors and "investors" like to buy slabs, would it make a difference if these Korean cards are graded and are given high grades also? Because I noticed in the last card show I went to, all I saw were slabbed cards of hits, and I was wondering if the less popular languages like Korean and Chinese would have a chance of being sold if they are graded? Since people who collect these slabs are probably not players.
Japanese cards are also non-playables I believe, so just maybe Korean cards will have a chance of being sold if they are slabbed?
