Do you actually need 72V and dual motors, or are we just paying extra for bragging rights?
I think I may have misunderstood 72V scooters.
I used to think 72V was basically just an excuse to make a scooter faster.
But the more I look into high-performance scooters, the more I’m starting to think that’s an oversimplification.
If you aren’t using the extra voltage to chase top speed, what does 72V actually give you in real-world commuting?
Better hill climbing?
Less voltage sag?
More headroom?
Better performance with heavier riders?
Or is the whole 72V thing mostly marketing?
I’d genuinely like to hear from people who have owned both 52V/60V and 72V scooters.
What did you actually notice in daily riding?
I’m much more interested in real-world experience than manufacturer specs.
For normal commuting, what does a 72V dual-motor setup actually give you that a good 52V/60V scooter doesn’t?
