I don't understand why feminists say that patriarchy harms men while also benefits men. For example, when men's issues are brought like the male suicide rate, men are majority of the homeless and the male-only draft feminists will say the patriarchy negatively affects both men and women. This is such a weird statement because whenever a white person says they have been a victim of racism no one says that white supremacy also hurts white people they say reverse racism doesn't exist or when a straight person says I have been hated for my sexuality no one argues that heteronormativity can also harm straight people. Why are men the only ones who get told they are privileged while at the same are told the patriarchy doesn't benefit them?
I'm really glad I found this sub it really helped me stop hating men. I want to educate myself more on men's issues now that I have seen the truth. You guys are wonderful.
