How much can daughter earn while on SSI

My daughter has had SSI for 8 years due to being legally blind. She wants to try to get a temporary seasonal part time job that likely won't pay more than minimum wage. How much can she earn without losing her SSI payments? I know she can't have more than 2K in her account but will having any type of income mess with her benefits?

Going to Disney...best ice packs that will last the long, hot days in parks

I am wondering if there are longer lasting ones that are better for the high heat and long days of Disney. We go next week. Thanks for any help.

Lost all my Notes folders and backed up Notes file won't open

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I realized the other day that all of my Notes folders are gone on my old MacBook Pro (2012). There was a lot of important info in there but I always felt safe since my husband has been backing our macs up to a Seagate Backup device. When we plug in the device, you can see the previous backups but when we try to open the most recent or any older ones, the only thing we get is either it won't open or it is in code. When I go into icloud, they weren't there. I would not have deleted the folders and there isn't a file for recently deleted in the lefthand column. This is my last ditch effort to try to find the notes. Thanks for any suggestions you all might have.

Small backpack + swimming question

We are heading to Disney World in August and I will be on my feeds daily. I have an Omni pump and a adult sized backpack that I would prefer to downsize some given how hot it will be. Has anyone found a smaller one or a crossbody bag that fits the pump along with a 1000ml bag of formula? Also, I have a GJ button. Any advice on what I should I cover it with so I can enjoy the water parks.

Thanks for any help!

Hate the ED but also hate recovery...what to do from here?

I am on the older end of this (56) and have had AN for over 35 years. Just came home from yet another medical stabilization followed by a mandated inpatient stay that went horribly. I am now trying to piece my life back together at home and will not return to any form of treatment ever again...I am just so tired. I do hate the disorder, I really do. This is not a pro-ana post at all. It has stolen so much from me. But being home and trying to do this with my outpatient team is torture too. Every day I go to bed depressed over how I feel in my body and anxiety ridden over what I have eaten to satisfy my RD's plan. I just feel so hopeless at this point and don't know what to do. Has anyone felt this way and if so, how did you get through it (or not get through it). Sorry this is such a downer of a post. Hoping it doesn't get removed because I could really use some support but understand if it does.

Trivial issue but my hair looks awful

For background: I have had ana for over 35 years and always maintained a full thick head of hair (curly). For whatever reason, my body decided now is the time for me to lose a TON of hair and what hair I do have is now super frizzy no matter the product I use. I have all these tiny pieces that must be new growth but looks awful too. Not only do I hate my body, now I hate looking at the mirror at my hair. I am working on restoring some weight. Are there any products I can use or treatments my hairdresser can do to help nourish my hair to look half decent? I am thinking I may just have to resort to using wide hair bands and pulling it back until it grows in further. Thanks for any help.

RD won't work with me...how to do this on my own

I just got home from a 2 month medical stabilization stay followed by a court mandated stay at an inpatient program. I was able to get the court order lifted after 3 weeks (I was doing horribly there and we agreed it was for the best). Now that I am home, my nutritionist let me know she can no longer ethically work with me because I need a higher level of care. So I am left to do this on my own. For those who have reached a place of medical stability on your own, how did you do it? How did you know how many calories to get in? Thanks for any help you can provide.

ERC Denver

Is there anyone here who has had recent experience at ERC Denver adult inpatient unit that would be willing to speak via chat about your time there and answer some questions?

TW for involuntary treatment and tube

I have been certed and will be sent to ERC Denver (adult inpatient) involuntarily. This happened once before but that was several years ago now. I am absolutely terrified because of the trauma they inflicted on me previously.

Has anyone been there recently who can tell me what the inpatient program is like there now? What I should take with me? What the daily schedule looks like? Anything else I should know? I already know it is not a good program but I am just looking to survive and get out. I should add I am on a GJ tube due to SMA syndrome and get most of my nutrition through that - any clue how they would handle that? Thanks for any help.
