AITA for continuing to see my fwb even though i know he has feelings for me?
Me (21F) and my fwb (21M) met 9 months ago and started sleeping together pretty much immediately. he’s my best friend and i love him and i don’t want to hurt him. i think we’re very compatible as friends but he’s a little too anxious and immature than i would want a boyfriend to be. a few weeks into us seeing each other, i told him i wasn’t looking for a romantic relationship and he said he understood. as time goes on, i feel like his feelings are getting deeper. (he talks about me to his friends, tells me im the most beautiful girl he’s ever seen, is very touchy) i never wanted there to be miscommunications between us so i have reiterated several times that i don’t want a romantic relationship and he insists that he understands and wants our relationship to continue.
i feel so guilty. do i have an obligation to end things if i feel like he’s catching feelings? or should i listen to him and trust him when he tells me this is what he wants?
