Cracked the shapewear under wrap dress code
Been fighting wrap dresses for years! Love the look but hate spending the whole night holding the neckline closed or adjusting the skirt every time I sit down or move wrong. Plus having big tatats just doesnt help either and it makes me feel uncomfortable if it feels like things will pop out.
Tried absolutely everything from going bare underneath, regular bike shorts, did those weird bra clip in things that cover the cleavage line and hated it! nothing felt right. Last respirt layered a shaping cami with shaper shorts and holy crap!!! What a difference. The cami stops the neckline from gapping anf the shorts stop the skirt from twisting mid wear. For thin fabrics specifically, silicone edge shorts are the move.
Took me embarrassingly long to land on this combo lol. Posting in case anyone else has been suffering through wrap dress season unnecessarily.
