What’s this about? On the ballot today. I don’t recall ever having to vote for someone by their gender, and I’m not sure I’m happy about it. The poll worker I spoke to said they’d never seen it on a ballot before. Thoughts?

I have had Flashcard Frenzy nonstop for over a month now. No Match Madness, no Rapid Review. I just went through all 13 levels of FF & it repeated the same extremely basic words throughout every level: yes, no, and, or, thank you, hello, goodbye, coffee, tea, sandwich, croissant, eclair. Over and over and over again. I’ve been doing French for 5 years now, and this is what I get? What gives, Duolingo? You’ve just totally given up, haven’t you? I’ll be cancelling, merci. Au revoir.
Hi, I recently bought a 2019 Honda Fit and let the dealer talk me into an extended warranty for 6 years. He convinced me when he said the electronics could be an expensive fix. My last car was a 2006 Scion XA that had none of these new-fangled things. It basically cost me an extra $60/month for 72 months. Was this a good idea or should I cancel it?
My background is in academic editing and I’m fairly new to the proposal world. What style guides do you follow for proposals? Is GPO the standard, or AP, or Chicago Manual? It seems every sector has their own style—for example, some capitalize Federal and Government, some don’t. Is there a definitive guide or does every branch have their own style guide (and where would I find them)?
