Hello! Looking for some advice for folks who know what they’re talking about, bc I have no idea about roofing whatsoever. We bought our home 3 years ago and were told that the roof had been redone 7 years before. My husband noticed some saggy looking spots, and we’ve had three contractors out who all agree that the roof situation is bad. We need to get our roof completely redone, and a lot of the damage comes from issues with ventilation and not actually sealing where the roof meets siding.

One of the problems with the ventilation piece is that the air fan in our bathroom just goes straight into the crawl space under the roof. There’s now mold in the crawl space, and one contractor showed us that our walls are “actively wet” in other spots so I have to imagine there’s more mold there too. However, the two contractors we’re leaning towards told us that ventilation and water issues are fixed, the mold will just go away and we won’t have to worry about it. Is this true? I was under the
impression that any spots where mold developed would need to be replaced entirely. Will it really just solve itself if we solve the ventilation problems?

Sorry if this is super vague/not detailed - I don’t really know all the right terminology. Any advice for a much appreciated!

I’m 3 weeks PP and BF is not coming naturally. Every few days we get a little better, but latching can still take significant time. We’re working through it and making slow progress, but in the meantime - what are people doing to help with the leaking? Like the moment I even think about feeding her, my boobs start flowing. It honestly is making a mess of me, my clothes, my baby, my bed, etc. I have the pads from my pumping bras but they fill up so quickly and get gross and then they’re scratchy and uncomfortable. Please send me your tips!!
