House painted bath tub 😐

Hi all.

Long time lurker first time poster.

My partner and I have lived in our apartment for a few months now. Long story short, our landlord painted the bathtub. With housepaint. The paint on the bottom has been incremently peeling off. There's an awkward stain around the drain. I scrub at it and it does nothing. There are streaks all over the bathtub from the moisture and things alike. Any advice would be so so so appreciated 😭.

Note: IK the pink mold is our own doing. I will tend to that.

First time here on this sub, looking for general guidance

I'm 19 ftm and have been struggling for awhile. I,'m happily in a relationship and we have had a good sex life. Recently however, I've been getting worse with masturbation and porn. I started watching when I was very young (say 5-6). I feel disgusting every time I watch porn and get off to it. I also have an issue where I use a vibrator, so now I have a hard time finishing without it. I want to get better and stop, but every time I think about it, I get the itch and scratch it. My partner told me to look into this subreddit, so here I am.

Recommendations for Cruising

I have gone on a few cruises with my family. We've only ever used Royal Caribbean, so that's sort of what I'm accustomed to I suppose. My partner and I have been looking at going on a cruise sometime later this year or summer of next year (unsure at the moment but would prefer this year even though it's a bit last minute). I've been looking around but don't know what to consider the most.

The ports that we would prefer are on the Northeastern coast (Baltimore, Cape Liberty, New York, and ports near those). We want to go somewhere in the Caribbean and would be willing to do 7-9 days. 11+ days would be okay, but 7-9 is preferred.

Looking for recommendations that are affordable and decently regarded in terms of cruise lines.

TIA!

Northeastern PA - haven't seen this before

My partner and I moved in here a few months ago. Originally I thought the plant was lambs ear, but it has the thing growing out the top now? Really intrigued on what this is. Ive never seen something like this around here.

[Product Request] Looking for a new moisturizer to try

My current morning and night routine:

AM:

Aveeno Positively Radiant Oil Free Foaming Cleanser

Lacura H20 Gel

Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion

Sunscreen

PM:

Aveeno Positively Radiant Oil Free Foaming Cleanser

Vanicream Moisturizing Lotion

I was on Accutane last year and it really dried out every part of me. Vanicream was the only thing that helped me, so I kind of just ended up sticking with it and continuing it after finishing Accutane. However, recently I have noticed that it feels too heavy and greasy for me. My skin is still on the more oily side and I still have moderate acne. I'm looking for recommendations for something that is lightweight and non-comedogenic. TIA!

Struggling to decide

I have been accepted into an ABSN program near me. I don't have a previous bachelor's degree, but have an access of college credits in different disciplines. I still have to finish up the nursing pre reqs like a + p etc.. I'm still waiting to get information from the financial aid office to see what my cost is actually going to look like. The program is a private university, and the sticker price for tuition for the 2026-2027 school year is $42,000 (subject to change since that is the estimate, the actual cost isn't posted yet for that academic year).

It's a four semester program, so I would be attending Spring of 2027-Spring of 2028 full time. There is a chance I would take a few credits in the coming fall semester to finish pre reqs and university requirements, but not certain on that yet.

When I graduated high school, I applied to this school and was offered $10,000 annually. I am really hoping that I am offered more than that at this point, but I evidently won't know til I get the letter from them.

I currently work at a hospital and plan to stay employed through them during the duration of a nursing program. They offer tuition assistance for working. I would get a lump sum of $20,000 at the start of the program. After I graduate, I would obtain a RN position at the hospital and work there for a minimum of 3 years. During those 3 years, they pay out another $20,000. So it's like $550 a month roughly. Obviously, it would be a really big help, but my concern is that it still doesn't bring tuition down all that much. I think they also offer up to $3,000 an academic year for tuition reimbursement.

I'm having a hard time deciding if it is something that is worth going through with. This is the only program of its kind in my area that I would be eligible to partake in. We do have a community college, but I haven't been accepted or denied and won't know until January of 2027 (which is when the ABSN program begins). I'm looking if anyone has an advice or recommendations on what to do in this situation. I know it would help to know or expect what I would receive in aid, but again, do not have that yet.

If anything needs clarified, please let me know and TIA.

Programs and living situations during nursing school

I am currently in the process of applying and looking into different nursing schools and programs around me. I currently work at a hospital in registration, and plan to stay employed through the hospital as they offer financial assistance to become a nurse. There are two programs that I have been looking at. I'm pretty sure they're both the same length, but only difference is when they start.

My main concern is that I will have to work. There isn't a way for me to go to school and not work. The one program is hybrid. Lectures are online, and labs and clinical are in person on the weekends. The other program is mostly during the week. It's with the local community college so there is a bit more flexibility with scheduling and different locations. The first program is ABSN (I have 65+ college credits in an unrelated field but they would apply for gen eds and things like that). The other program is ADN.

I'm not sure what to do in regards to work. Without the nursing program in consideration, I plan on doing an internal transfer in the hospital system (mostly for reasons of pay rate and different shift preference). I was wondering if anyone has experience or advice for working while enrolled in a program like one of those I listed. I really want to be able to succeed, but I know there is a possibility of struggle while working.
