Urgent: Dealer refusing to invoice my Seltos today to avoid the July 1st Kia price hike. What should I do?
Hey everyone,
I need some urgent advice. As most of you know, Kia is hiking prices by 2% across its lineup starting tomorrow, July 1st.
I’ve booked a Kia Seltos HTX Diesel at a dealership in Andhra Pradesh. The physical car is available in their stockyard, my bank is fully ready to disburse the loan amount, and we have submitted all valid documents (including a perfectly active PAN card).
I am pushing the dealer to generate the final system invoice today (June 30th) so we can lock in the pre-hike price. However, the dealer keeps making excuses, saying it's "not possible" to bill it tonight and pushing it to July. If it crosses midnight, I will easily lose ₹35,000 to ₹40,000 extra for absolutely no fault of mine.
Has anyone faced this kind of delay from a dealer right before a price hike?
Should I immediately drop a formal email to Kia India corporate escalating this refusal to invoice a ready-to-pay customer? Will corporate actually intervene and protect my price?
Any advice on how to handle the dealer or escalate this before midnight tonight would be highly appreciated!
Thank you
