Sonosequencer or Sonority? Anyone tried both?

Hey fellow cultists. I have an existing HT setup of Beam gen 2 - sub mini - 2x100s. And absolutely love it.

Of course as a member of the cult I have now grabbed a couple of 100sls...I couldn't help myself.

Anyhoo I'm an android user so I went down the Sonority App route to add them as fronts. Fortunately my missus is an iPhone user so I used that to Trueplay and setup with Sonority.

I feel less immersed in the sound though. The fronts add enormously but it definitely feels as though the overall sound is not as enveloping or "warm". Basically as if Trueplay is now non-existent.

Has anyone else used both and if so do you have a preference? I'm only concerned about the sound quality not the UI etc. Before I drive the missus mad by pinching her iPhone and waving it around in the air...yet again.

Tldr: As the title says. Which has the better audio quality. So far Sonority doesn't feel "Trueplayed".

I want a pair of 5's....

My current setup is a beam gen 2, sub mini and 2 era 100's at each end of the console table behind the sofa.

This is perfect for TV viewing. But a little lacking in quality/separation for music. I'd love a pair of 5's. The question is how would I use them? As fronts using sonosequencer? Elsewhere using sonosequencer? Entirely separately as a standalone stereo pair?

What are your thoughts guys?

I look forward to hearing. Oh and do forgive the childlike scrawl.

Cheers.
