Has anyone fitted a rear windscreen mounted dashcam?
Is there a suitable powered take off in a convenient location (preferably so I can hide the wire).
I would prefer to know if this is viable before removing trim etc to look for one
I’m a very happy owner of a nearly new (6 month old) Seal Excellence in UK.
I purchased from a main dealer, it was registered to one of their directors.
The dealer said they had made the request to BYD to transfer the car to me, so that it would be added to ‘my vehicle’ in the app
Two weeks later and still not there (and scanning QR gives a ‘bad QR’ error)
I called BYD and they gave me some story about the system being offline that checks the validity of the request, and suggested I scan and send the registration documents (v5) and ID.
Anyone heard of this ‘systems outage’? Am I just getting the run around (dealer mistake, BYD not knowing what they are doing?)
I don’t mind trying the document upload, but I still don’t have the V5 registration yet - probably will be another couple of weeks at least
