I love finding easter eggs/pop culture references
in Kaifeng if you go to the court house you will see these 3 statues of a Dragon, Lion, and Dog.
For the ones not aware these are 3 different types of "beheading blades" used in the popular TV series Justice Bao (I watched the 1993 ones)
It wasn't uncommon to have the villain/criminal just get beheaded at the end of the arc, with each of the beheading statues being used for different statuses of the convict, Dogs are for commoners, Tigers are for officials, and Dragons were for royal families.
Then the two guards outside, Wang Han and Ma Chao are actually name flips of some of the characters from the show, Wang Chao and Ma Han. There's 2 more that I was hoping to find, Zhang Long and Zhao Hu were the actual character names so I was expecting to see Zhang Hu and Zhao Long, but didn't see them.
These are the little details that I find in the game that make me chuckle and smile a bit.
