First cargo bike for me. HSD Gen 2 popped up on marketplace with the dog carrying accessories. Let’s me take my Sheltie with me wherever in the city. Did a 1 hr ride and visited the park to play fetch, got some coffee, and toured some nice trails. We both loved every minute of it.

For reference my dog is about 30 lbs. The harness tie downs work well. She likes to peek out on both sides when we’re riding. Went slow at first, and tested even above 35kph and she likes the wind in her fur.

3 yrs after we first hit 1M to be exact. Mostly index funds. Tech stocks and some work pension in there. Cash buffer for eventual retirement make up the rest. Target FIRE is between 2.5-3M. More dependent on how long we still wanna work. Mid 40s.

45M, married. Wasn’t really a quick race for me. More like a slow marathon. But I got there. If I include my wife’s portfolio, we’re at about 2 million. We are celebrating with some ice cream tonight.
