What are your opinions and views on Falun Gong?

I wholeheartedly believe the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong should end. They deserve to have their rights protected, but honestly they're not free of criticism, but that's a different story.

It looks like a harmless spiritual stuff, but they have a lot of pseudoscience, pseudohistorical claims, and many controversial claims.

My opinion is that they deserve the right to practice their beliefs, but it's still a strange cult. What about your opinion?

A genuine question: Why were women blamed for everything across society?

I've been learning about feminism for a while, and one of the question I've been asking is that why were women blamed for everything across society?

Strangely, in some societies, like ancient Greece, there were female goddesses, like Gaia and Athena, but female were considered second-class and barred from many things. There was also the Pandora box story, which was misogynistic

They were called source of evil, mentally incapable, too emotional, and other deregatory names. They were barred from participating in political actions, scientific research, jobs, and even basic rights. Some female writers had to use male pseudonyms to be recognized or taken seriously.

Today, they're blamed for all political woes in manosphere and even social media feeds because apparently "women voting was a mistake" and "they're too emotional"

What did women ever do to deserve this? And why is it so widespread?

Why the hate for sports?

Maybe I'm out of the loop, but why do some people hate people who watch sports? Like calling it bread and circuses! Sport matches are waste of time and distraction, apparently, but somehow things like animes, star wars lore, gaming, minifigures collection, etc are just "hobbies." Why is the double standard?

Besides that, what's wrong with bread and circuses? You have bread (food) and circuses (sport matches). You don't need to revolt when your needs and wants are fulfilled. Am I right?

Thank you for this subreddit

I'm genuinely tired by conspiracy theorists, pseudoscience, and hoaxes like moon landing denial, anti-vaccination, genocide denialism, 9/11 conspiracy, alternative medicine, wellness, race realism, great replacement, and other theories from my family members and social media pages. This subreddit feels like a breath in the fresh air because many users value evidence and facts over conspiracy theories and vibes. Thanks for the existence of this subreddit
