Office system complete (for now).
Through a trade, I’ve ended up with a set of Zu DWX Supremes. They’re pretty fun.
I did not like them with a tube amp. They seem to need an amp with a higher damping factor to sound right to my ear.
I paired them with an Atoll IN200 Evo (120w into 8 ohms) and a semi-vintage Sonic Frontiers SFD-1 Mk2 R2R DAC with a tube bufffed output.
It’s a really nice sounding combo. Not as detailed or neutral as my main system, but really musical with most music, and it’s pleasant for NIN and other less “audiophile” recordings.
These work well in a 10x10x7.5’ space but would probably work in a bigger room with a sub.
