A thought that I had while watching Smackdown last night & seeing this graphic…

Tag team wrestling in both WWE & AEW sucks right now… it’s enjoyable in NXT but that’s about it..

I DVR’ed Smackdown last night & got up to the MFT match before going to bed & then at work, I see this graphic & “The Dogs” have a tag team title match without winning a tag match (according to Cagematch) since that awful chain match with BBG at the July PPV?

What the fuck..

But yeah, MFT’s, War Raiders, Shin’s team, all are awful.. I like Fraxiom but got damn is tag team wrestling really struggling on Smackdown & same on RAW.. I can’t even name a team outside of “The Vision”… tag team wrestling absolutely doesn’t exist on both RAW & Smackdown & you know what,. I am okay with it.. everything else is doing well enough that you don’t even think about the tag division at all..

& miss me with the “Tag Team Division is hot in AEW” talk.. Bucks are champions again when nobody asked for it, the rest of the division is a team that was hot during the last time my Dolphins won a playoff game at the end of 2000(Edge & Christian) teams from 2010(FTR, New Level, MCMG) & other teams that nobody cares about(Gunns, Dogs, Death Riders)..

The best teams that AEW produced in house are donzo.. Acclaimed done, Swerve & Keith Lee done, Private Party, injured & done, Top Flight got banished to ROH..

If you like tag team wrestling, watch NXT, cause it is absolutely dead everywhere else.

P.S. Rhea & Sky was the best tag team to watch in the past 2 years.. mens or women’s

A PPV event should NOT be struggling to get to 5k in a 10k capacity arena.. especially with how “phenomenal” AEW’s PPV’s are.. should be an easy sell out no?

B&G not selling is no surprise, they barely got 5k last year in North Carolina & they are in a state(FLORIDA) where they can’t sell tickets to their PPV.. so maybe they get to 3k-3500 but that would have to be a disappointing number..

So I studied Cagematch for its users thoughts on Dynamite last night & all I have to say is:

“LMAO”..

They obviously watched a different show than what I saw..

A 9..48(essentially a 9.5) which would make it a top 3-5 wrestling show of all time?!?

I’ll admit that Britt’s interactions with Rebel were sweet as fuck & Rebel handing Britt her glove for the lockjaw was doubly sweet.. & Britt riding out with Rebel after the match was triple sweet.. but other than that.. it was an average Dynamite at best..

The first match had a spot where OC had Kofi & Creed in a super weak double headlock where he did his OC kicks to Swerve & the New Level just stood there in this dumbass headlock for like 8-10 seconds & didn’t move.. then Swerve got up & did something & Kofi & Creed were still in this headlock spot not moving.. naturally they retained but this is the “creative freedom” that Kofi & Creed were being “held back in WWE” from?! Smh.. 6.0 at best..

6 women match was decent.. interesting to see Britt come back but not take a single bump in the match.. nor I don’t believe she even got hit during the match as well.. but Britt did throw some awful strikes.. Shida was checked out.. still don’t know what the It Girl is.. Persephone is good.. Hyan was there to take the loss, Rosa did too much Ozempic cause she is skinny as fuck.. & she didn’t care in this match..

Andrade is a meme at this point.. selfie with a woman in the stands, forgettable moves that mean nothing.. which then sets up his back elbow counter move into the DM.. 1-2-3.. forgettable promo which ends with “How You Know”.. & the Sickos eat it up..

Ospreay & David Finley was forgettable.. BTW, what a great signing Finley was.. 0-2 in singles.. a group that nobody cares about.. sure earning that paycheck there buddy .. note to Tony.. just because WWE shows interest in someone.. doesn’t mean you have to sign them.. but hey, how much longer until Finley & The Dogs are booked for a stay at Khantanamo Bay?

Speaking of great signings, brings me to Josh Alexander.. I know he is coming off of injury.. but does anyone give a fuck about him? Glad to see come back as Don Callis goon #13 & take the pin in his return match.. oh boy, Stings son is about to go undefeated for a very long time huh? He looked decent in the match.. but nothing stood out about him that makes me want to see him again..

Mercedes did a promo where she insinuated that Willow needs to be asked how her dick tastes? Who is that appealing to? Are we 14 years old Tony? Grow the fuck up.. also, I am going to laugh if the women’s match is a triple threat at All Out.. Willow goes from a “broken hand” to wrestling a month later completely healed? I made a post about Willow being booked better than prime Cena, Goldberg & Hogan a few weeks ago… good to know that I was right on that..

Which brings me to the Main Event.. Kyle Fletcher is the worst wrestler when it comes to selling.. he took a Meltzer Driver, he got spiked on his head on the apron, he took other “power moves” & yet still bounced up like it didn’t even matter at the end.. dude needs to go to NXT & get drilled on HOW TO FUCKING SELL!!

He is my 2nd most disliked wrestler in AEW behind Darby..

So the Young Bucks lost, does that mean that they are out of the tag match at All Out & are replaced by Fletcher & Knight? Or Fletcher & Knight get added to it? If not, what was the point of the fucking match?

Speaking of the match .. how did Fletcher & Knight win the match when it was CLEAR as DAY that the Young Buck missed the table completely, that Fletcher went through it.. & yet Fletcher won the match?

All in all, a completely average to below average Dynamite that the Sickos completely overrated just because it was a charity themed episode..

P.S. speaking of charity, for me, it would have meant more if all the talent was wearing the Rebel Heart T-Shirt & said anything to the camera about why the show had a special theme.. or interacted with Rebel instead of her being forgotten about by everyone there other than Britt & Shida..

To me, the show felt inauthentic as a charity show other than the Britt interactions.. cause nobody other than Excalibur, Britt & a lesser extent Shida.. other than them.. nobody made a big deal about the charity… & the whole point of making Dynamite a special themed episode..

If there was a Dynamite that I thought would draw a better crowd than usual.. it would be the one for charity..

If you can’t draw for a charity show for an OG member of AEW, that came after the greatest PPV of all time when the company is allegedly at its hottest with the most stacked roster of all time..

What the hell are we even doing at this point?

I don’t understand how Finley lost to Jay White in the first round of the Continental Cup thingy they just had, but yet is one win away from a championship match even though Finley has never won a singles match in AEW.. that is beyond stupid & makes no logical sense..

Young Bucks tables match? What? Why? How has this feud with these 4 progressed to get to a NO DQ stipulation match where you only win by putting someone thru a table? So if the Bucks lose, does Fletcher & Knight get added to the TEMU TLC match coming up or replace the Bucks in it? If not, then what’s the point of this match?

Trios match is whatever.. OC’s group hasn’t had a trios match since they lost the belts(7-29) but somehow get a trios title match? Whatever..

Darby sucks.. I assume Davis is there to take the pin or does Alexander pin Darby which sets up a match where Darby defends his title & gets his win back..

6 woman tag? No way Britt is losing in her return match so Hyan is there to take the pin.. & way to keep Britt heated up.. by having her in a taped backstage promo in her first Dynamite appearance in 2 years last week.. that nobody remembered..

But back to my main point..

If you can’t draw for a charity show..how ice cold is your brand.. & how apathetic is the non Sicko audience to it?

I would say it’s sad seeing them slowly circle the proverbial drain like this.. but it’s all self inflicted at this point with the mistakes that they have made.. & there is absolutely no magic bullet coming to save them..

Being in AEW is like playing for the Sacramento Kings in our year of 2026..

You are only playing for the paycheck, there is no hope to contend & and you are waiting for your contract expire so you can sign with a better team(WWE).. or get bought out so you can sign with a better team(WWE, Lakers or I guess the Thunder or Spurs will work as well.. )
