I am beyond sick of the DCF.. they have championships but the group still feels small time & unimportant.. maybe because everyone but Fletcher & Knight always lose..(Okada barely wrestles) how is the group helping to elevate Fletcher? Knight? The championships feel like an afterthought when there is 25 members of the DCF..

Also, Bucks teaming with Omega, is this Tony throwing in the towel on the “dream match” between Cope & Christian & the Young Bucks.. for such an “dream match” there is absolutely zero heat behind it.. & no beating up Cope &
Christian backstage like the Dogs & Pac & Claudio did ain’t going to put “Heat” on this match.. to me it feels super unimportant..

So Ospreay’s match will further tensions between his old group in NJPW & himself.. great, I don’t watch NJPW so these guys mean nothing to me.. hence the match means nothing to me..

All in all, this doesn’t feel like a “Wembley is 2 weeks away” excitement type of card.. but we’ll see if the 9738 time WON Booker Of The Year can cook up some heat for All In cause boy howdy, does it ever need it..

ROH is more dead & buried than the New York Jets with Geno Smith at QB this season.. who the fuck is even watching ROH at this point.. Tony needs to be taking way more heat for his absolute mismanagement of ROH..

What I did like the best was Smackdown..

3 matches but they all meant something & we had Tatum debut who I feel is the best pure female babyface wrestler in both AEW & WWE.. she is that good.. & improves every storyline & person that she interacts with… she is Chelsea Green in that regard.. but 10 times the wrestler that Green is..

Jacy>Thekla & Fallon & Lainey easily clear Skye & Juila..

Lainey has improved so much in such a short amount of time.. she is going to break out..

But I really liked was the promos on Smackdown.. they set up Punk & KO plus Cody & Randy.. I am invested in the characters because they gave me a reason to be invested in them..

Also is Nakaru debuting as Nak’s partner? If so, does that mean lo Sky is moving to Smackdown?

Professional wrestling is a weekly traveling live action soap opera & I feel like the promo’s & character work is more important to get over & get people invested in seeing the wrestling part of it rather than wrestling 15-30 minute matches every week which are boring as hell if I am not emotionally invested in the characters..

Like I still don’t know a damn thing about Maya Worlds character other than her brother died & she had a birthday last month.. what else is there about Maya World that I should care about? I need more meat on the bone there..

I watched all 4 shows this week.. & I found Grand Slam Mexico to be the most boring of all 4…

First of, anything Moxley is in is a total dud for me, I don’t need to see him stumble around the wrestling ring “selling” & flipping people off & doing his shoulder shug & strut every Wednesday & ultimately winning the match..but Tony Kahn feels otherwise.. Moxley is way better backstage & promos than he is wrestling.. stop booking him every week!!

Kommander is the definition of a spot monkey.. dude is only there to do cool shit like run the ropes, flip a billion times from the ropes, turnbuckle & lose.. I don’t think I have ever heard him promo.. so why should I care about him again? Champa is ice cold, btw, whatever happened to him going after the champions in AEW.. dude just went to AEW to bleed in matches that he loses in, & to milk Tony for millions.. & to wrestle Andrade’s pants(sooo dumb) & Andrade is decent..

The 6 woman tag was dumb in that Willow’s backslide is as protected as Corbin’s “End Of Days”.. it’s a backslide, how the fuck is it impossible to kick out of.. also why is Mone taking the pin there.. I have no interest in seeing them wrestle now for the championship , cause the challenger was pinned clean in the middle of the ring.. also why is Willow being protected as much as she is.. she rarely ever loses & when she does take a pin(Revolution tag match this year) it comes after she had a match, plus a post match beat down after said match & it’s her 2nd match of the night..

Every Fletcher match is the same, repetitive nonsense.. it’s going 15 plus minutes, big moves will be hit & no sold(Speedball’s finisher & Fletcher’s finisher) all were kicked off at 2.9.. plus other moves will have a 2.9 kick out until Fletcher hits his finishing move involving the turnbuckle.. & it ends.. not every Fletcher match needs to be a 50-50 struggle.. dude is overrated as fuck..

Didn’t care about Jericho’s match.. it was there for the crowd to sing along to his music & Mistico’s..

Statlander literally got pinned for 10 seconds after the belt shot & until the ref hit the 3 count.. her career is DOA in AEW.. but she doesn’t care.. her problem is promos & she still hasn’t improved one bit in years..

GOA deserve a tag title run.. too bad with New Day coming in.. as well as MCMG there.. & FTR coming back.. they will never get it..

Speaking of Refs.. & my biggest problem of the night.. why did the referee start to count Davis out when he was knocked out on the outside & the ref was outside with him? To make matters worse, when the ref got to 9, he stopped counting, physically nudged Davis to get up & to get into the ring to finish the match.. it wasn’t a last man standing match, so why count? I have never seen a no DQ street fight end with a ref count.. it is always pin or submission.. soooo what the fuck was that?

All in all, it was a show that had too much wrestling & not enough reason for me to care about the wrestlers cause I am not emotionally invested in any of them..
