There are a number of PokeKon Fests within a few hours of where I live in the NE USA. I would be interested in vending at one or more of the fests, but I have read conflicting reviews about the organization of the fests. So my question is: have you attended PokeKon in your city? What was your experience? Were the vendors cool? Were the guests and panels interesting?
I suffered an aneurysm which left me with limited dexterity in my left hand. Fortunately, my right hand is completely fine. However, now I need to find a solution to play live.
I can still use my left hand to hold pads down, so I'm looking for a MIDI controller that has 16 or so pads on the left side of the controller that could be custom assigned to trigger chords, while my right hand plays the melody. Internal memory to store custom chords and the ability to flip between for multiple songs would be ideal.
Does something like this exist?
Recently purchased an MPC One 37 key, so I'm new to the MPC community and work flow. Please forgive my ignorance.
Is it possible to rearrange the pads in a custom Progression? It seems to default to repeating the progression up octaves until all 16 pads are filled. Ideally, I would like to be able to rearrange which chords are assigned to which pads, and only use as many as necessary, as I would be able to on my Maschine+. How would I go about doing this?
