Runabout and Runamuck
Not the most loved set of G1 figures but I enjoyed them growing up! With the ToyHax upgrade sticker price to add the detail. One word of caution, the guns fit so tight that’ll scrape up the decals if you aren’t careful.

Kinda wish WST would come back! I really didn’t care for it originally, but would love to have more characters that scale with city figures like Metroplex and Trypticon. The three pictured mini figures are from MP Skyfire.
Body is upgraded with the ToyHax upgrade set. Still need to get Sixgun’s decals.
And here we go! Somehow, this configuration was going to stop Ginrai.
Upgraded with some ToyHax decals. I didn’t install them all, too many.
Combined mode coming tomorrow :)
Not much to say about these! I did add the upgrade kit from ToyHax so they stand out more without all that missing detail. It’s like 10 bucks but I think it was worth it.
1/2 of the Darkwings team.
What are we using for Flight Stands nowadays? I could use more and FlightPose is long gone unfortunately.
More photos to come of the individual robots!
Was I the only person who didn’t know how easy it was to fix this? Just get a pen spring, trim it down to size, and boom! Working gun missile launcher.
To open the gun, remove the screw and have a tiny screwdriver to push the top cap tabs in.
This whole process took maybe 4 minutes or so?
I got the missiles on eBay, but they seem easy to find.
Note: my copy now fires hella far, so be careful lol.
Quick update to my previous post:
https://www.reddit.com/r/PSLF/s/LEbzaGDHSQ
Post payment, I waited 3 days for payment confirmation and then I called Fed Loan again to confirm they received notice of my payment and to ask if I needed to do anything else. Turns out, I had one more thing left.
Post payment, you have to submit another PSLF employment Verification, but make sure you check off the “I made the 120 payments and I want forgiveness” box.
From that point, it took my employer a week to fill out the form and maybe 7 days from verification acceptance, I got the letter via email confirming which loans were eligible for forgiveness .
It’s too bad I got the notification after arriving at work lol. I would have called out if it arrived at like 7am 🤙.
Good luck everyone!
I recently got some G1 stuff that was slightly yellowed. This Throttlebot, G1 Magnus gun, and a Sixgun chest. Took roughly 16 hours. I left it in a ziplock bag around 4 on Saturday and didn’t touch it again until 8 Sunday morning.
Not sure my camera did a good job of picking up how yellow everything was but it’s certainly an improvement.
I did have a few issues: I lost the Throttlebot’s arm to the drain monster lol. You shouldn’t touch the hair salon stuff with just your hands so when I was hosing it off, the arm flew out and went down the drain.
The other issue is I tried to protect the window stickers but those came off too.
Updated Group shot with recent arrivals: Headmaster Jrs and more Decepticon Powermasters. Still missing doubledealer…
I submitted my buyback request on September 30th, 2024 and other than a notice of receipt, that was the end of it. I called Fed Loan Services maybe once a quarter to ask for an update and I got the usual answer, "It is still processing, please be patient."
After all that time, in May of this year, I asked Claude AI what I should do, and it recommended I escalate the process using the FSA Feedback Center on StudentAid.gov (It's the structured complaint form under "Issues with my loan", Discharging, canceling, or forgiving My Loans".) and complained about what happened. I gave them numbers, email screenshots, etc. They responded within 2 weeks, I guess they have 15 days to respond when you use that inbox. The first email was more of a, "We need more time, we will be in touch." The second email was a request for information, they want specific tax returns related to the years in question. I responded to the email by attaching my returns and a week later, I got the PSLF payoff amount.
The payoff amount didn't match the sum total of the numbers included in the email (They were off $600 bucks), but I'll gladly pay an extra $600 to save 100k. Now, I called Mohela today and after a 3 hour phone wait, I was able to make my payment.
On Wednesday, I'll call Mohela to confirm they acknowledge the payment and we will be done.
What a journey! Good luck to everyone still holding on! I'll update the post once I get my discharge email.
Context:
Got a good deal on a lot of figures recently; unfortunately, this guy didn’t have his Targetmaster. For now, I picked up a 3D printed replacement until I’m able to find an official.
Notes: The accessories are 3D printed. Also, I had to remove the leg spring, so I can position his legs low enough to plug in his shield. Both legs have springs, but if you remove one, that’s good enough.
This is a ridiculous transformer to buy now because the blue parts are so brittle. Highly recommend sanding the neck loops and swapping pins if you have an unbroken copy to keep the neck tabs for breaking off.
