Ghost of Yotei with the new QSSR upscaling on performance mode on ps5 slim/base looks incredible.

The game already looked good on slim/base in performance mode anyway but the QSSR provides a very noticeable upgrade even on base hardware in performance mode. Particularly around foliage and lighting. God rays pop even without quality mode, and foliage looks MUCH better. Far clearer and easier to see individual leaves and blades of grass much clearer. Everything in general looks much better with QSSR on.

Saw the gingy Crack reports and checked mine. It's pretty bad.

Big hairline crack on his face running up to the top hole in his head, and another small crack forming on the back of his neck. I've had this fig for all of 2 days now lol.

The back one looks more like a mold line but that front one definitely seems like a crack.

Edit: the more I think about it, I think this might be the first time they've used this specific head on a minifig? Previous gingerbread men had heads that looked more like sandwich cookies. This seems to be a new type of head and I suspect that may be the culprit. That hairline crack on the face extends to the hole on the head, which has me thinking the new mold they're using isn't doing some part of the process as it should. This head is thinner than the previous one and also when putting it on the neck it was particularly stiff and creaky sounding, the way it sounds when you put together a 10+ year old minifig you bought off bricklink if that makes any sense lol.

As others have said, a replacement likely won't help as almost everyone seems to have this issue and thus any replacement will just be the same thing. It's a problem in the manufacturing process, likely with the mold.

Decided to check my gingy after seeing the reports...I might have one of the worst cases lol.

Very obvious crack on the front that extends all the way to the hole in the head. With another small crack forming on his back neck area. Tried to angle him into the light to see it better.

My Marvel/Spiderman modular new york setup.

Finally got the last set I needed and set it up on this dresser for the moment. I absolutely love having a little modular new york like this.

Finally managed to get all the spiderman modular buildings and make my new york setup.

Oscorp was the last set I needed and found one in stock at target for $120, so $20 off. I'm so damn happy with how all this looks! I'm about to move and have a display shelf ready to build that will fit all this well but wanted to set it all up now lol. I have a lot of sets but this might be the favorite lego thing I own now. And now I hear sanctum santorum is coming and will probably fit with this, and that rather meh looking avengers tower coming has connectors to maybe fit it to everything. I will definitely get a sanctum santorum but I dunno about that avengers tower lol.

Initially I was on the fence about these spiderman modular buildings, but I honestly kind of love them when they're all together like this.

The amount of scenes you can do with them is kind of crazy honestly. Position the figs in all kinds of ways, add of remove different webbing situations. Plus it's cool having a little slice of new york in lego form in my house lol. There is no logic to how I have it set up other than to look like a wild battle is going on. Two different miles moraleses, 3 identical Peter parkers, two identical Gwen Stacy's, one miles swinging on a web line, the cop with the ninjago gold katana trying to fight rhino, etc. I just have fun with it.

Can I get some recommendations for polish as a man who has newly embraced painting my nails again at 39 years old.

I'm a dude but have always been more feminine at heart and buried it for most my life due to the typical societal bullshit about men and my parents. Now at 39, I'm in a situation where I can be myself and have friends that are supportive women and LGBT folks, so I've been able to let my hair down so to speak. I also now work from home so i have lots of freedom there too. I used to paint my nails black in my goth teen days so I still remembered how to do it. Borrowed some shiny black polish from my sister and did my fingers and toes. I love it.

Thing is I know nothing, literally zero, about polish beyond how to apply it. I'm looking for polish recommendations, colors I should try, etc.. Black is just a go to. I'm open to colors but would prefer if they're dark colors or neutral/androgynous colors/tones. While pink is my favorite color and I wear hot pink shirts, I wouldn't want go rock hot pink nails haha.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: several great recs for ILNP, Cracked, and Mooncat, do they carry any of these brands in sephora or ulta so I could maybe see them in person before buying? It's OK if they're online only I can do that too. Was just curious.

I'm gonna be getting other sets, not just cars, but I also want that Robert Pattinson batmobile too lol. I forgot how calming it is building sets. I just put something on TV to listen to and just get in the zone. I love it.

I, a 38 year old man, just received a borat style thong mankini as a gag gift for my birthday and it has turned out to be the most comfortable, freeing undergarment/bathing suit thing ever.

I've never bothered trying on a man thong or banana hammock before. I got it as a gag gift and thought why not and put it on. It made me surprisingly feel good. It made my weight loss and muscle gains super apparent and made me appreciate my body for once. I even walked around my backyard in it to get some sun(I have a 7 foot tall cinderblock wall around my entire backyard so no one would see anything), hell I still have it on now with some shorts and a shirt on over it using it as undies for the moment.

You'd think a thong would be uncomfortable but this one isn't, it's soft and just lightly up in the business, not flossing the exit so to speak. The fact it has nothing on the sides but yet supports your bits makes it feel like you're going commando under your shorts but aren't.

It's odd that something like this made me feel good about myself. Any of y'all have similar stories about how something weird or out of the ordinary ended up making you appreciate yourself or someone else?
