Small bugs have invaded my apartment recently. I can’t identify if they are some sort of moth?

Live in NYC. The weather was extremely hot past few days and I suddenly have these everywhere in my apartment except in the bathroom. I vacuum them up and they come back. in the morning most are dead. really unsettling to deal with this and I would like some help identifying what they are? they seem too small to be pantry or clothes moths. they are much smaller, under 0.5cm
