hi there! i have recently been diagnosed with cold urticaria and i have to go out to eat at the weekend.

the waiters always ask if there’s any allergies, should i mention it?

getting cold drinks is always risky for me bc my throat could swell up, so i always ask for no ice/bottles that aren’t in the fridge, but im not sure if i should mention it

if so, how? it always feels really silly when i tell people, so im not sure how to explain it

i’ve been apart from my ex partner for around 2 years now.

to put it briefly, he isolated me from my family and friends, was emotionally manipulative and controlled a lot of my finances.

i know i’m out and free from his control, but even now i still have old habits from when i was with him that keep disrupting my new, much more healthy relationship.

does it take so long for anyone else? am i doing something wrong?
