Perfume Campaign

There’s a perfume that might be NDA rn (can’t recall) and I know several campaigns are ongoing so I won’t disclose too much BUT the question: has anyone else got a perfume in the last 3-4 days that suddenly gave them or their partner a migraine?

My partner has had them for awhile but that started before I ever got into perfume—well, after this recent one, we noticed a sudden uptick in the migraines starting shortly after I sprayed it on me.

We are still narrowing down but it’s happened 3 times now. We are going to try to isolate some other factors and try it 1 more time since we just caught on during a recent discussion… but I’m curious if this issue is specific to my partner (and maybe an ingredient?) or is anyone else has received a femme-type-perfume with similar results in the past week.

TY for putting up with the vague questioning and I’ll keep an eye out for responses in the comments! Appreciate anyone willing to share their experience!

Getting Ahold of Support

Hi all, I got a broken item and after about 26-28 days of open tickets, I still haven’t got any kind of response. I’ve tried DMing on Instagram, tried making a public Instagram post showing my contact attempts, and finally (last week), I tried to contact the partner brand via Instagram business chat too.

The item arrived 2 days before the campaign ended so it’s now almost a full month overdue and I’m getting no new offers on Influenster—presumably because of this.

Is there any known way to escalate to someone who will actually respond?

Note: I even tried to complete the campaign review + social post showing the broken item and offering to make a new post if someone responded and/or resent the item so I can review it properly—but that got rejected too :(

In 10 years on this site, I’ve never experienced this and I’m just really sad tbh.

Late and Broken Curtain Rod

*sigh* anyone else get in the curtain and/or curtain rod (selection) campaign > wait over 2 months for the item to show > and then receive a completely useless item?

Mine arrived with the box absolutely busted. I pulled out what was left and both of the curtain end-cap knobs weren’t in the box.

I was so excited to get this claim and have been needing a curtain rod for months so this was the PERFECT match, but now I’m on the last day, support isn’t responding, and I literally cannot use this product—it’s a single bar with no mountain supplies and no knobs to keep the curtain on.

I know the next step is probs just “wait on support to respond” but dang… just extremely bummed cause I was so excited for this :(

PSA for those w/ Bundles Enabled

Just a quick tip for anyone who has bundles enabled and frequently accepts offers—

I have been on Depop since around 2021 and I have sold a handful of bundles (though I more frequently get people who are asking for a discount on single items)

Well, I found out today that a person can send you an offer on multiple individual items and then bundle them after you have accepted that offer— and Depop will ALSO give that buyer the additional “bundle discount” on the bundle as well (using the prices you accepted on the individual item offers)

I do better with examples so I am going to list the amounts below:

Individual item price = $15
Individual item2 price = $15
Buyer sends me an offer for $13 on both items
I accept that offer on both individual items
Buyer then bundles those two items—
(I have 2+ item bundle set to 25% off automatically)
Depop then applies my bundle discount to the OFFER totals

Basically, instead of this person getting my 25% off bundle deal on a $30 order, they were able to play the system and get 25% off of a $26 order (so an additional ~12% off the top).

Because I acquired these specific items for free through a family member, I am going to chalk this sale up to an important lesson on how the Depop bundle system works, but if someone had used this method to game me on an item that was over $100 I would be much less forgiving and more likely to refund > change bundle policy pricing > tell buyer I would meet them in the middle but wouldn’t go that low.

Anyhow, moral of the story is that there is a way for people to effectively double dip on the discounts strategically on Depop so if you currently have your bundles on, I would double check how steep of a discount you are offering in order to not get burned by smart buyers 😅 especially since free shipping is enabled right now and there seems to be a lot more activity than usual.

And yes, I went and adjusted down my bundle discount after this interaction. No worries, I didn’t message the buyer or anything. They did nothing “wrong”—just helped me better understand the platform.
