Found in the muddy tidal flats at low tide. Maybe about 5cm? May 18, 2026, around 16:00.

20 April 2026, 13:00. Less than a cm in length. They seem like silverfish maybe? I've NEVER seen silverfish in the wild. This was very interesting.

EDIT: They must be Tachyporinae rove beetles! Thanks everyone for your comments and expertise!
