Hello.

As the title says. I am looking for energy dampening tape to add to my ice hockey goalie mask. I have 1/8th thick foam with little clearance before my face. looking for a material that I could put underneath the foam. I am concerned that if I choose the wrong martial that it will send the energy inwards towards my head instead of stopping it or dissipating it back into the shell.

Thank you! The large helmet manufacturers use a product similar to what I am asking about but I can’t find exactly what they’re using.

Anyone else in a similar circumstance? Been at the same company 8 years. Making $48,000. Been applying for new jobs but it’s impossible. Work for a large “health information organization” as part of the quality assurance team. I have an associates degree. Feels like I am underpaid given how expensive things have gotten - but that’s everyone I suppose!

I am interested to learn how you all got into sales. I am thinking about a career change and multiple people have suggested that I would be great in sales.

A little about me. I am a person that makes friends easily. I think I am just genuinely interested in people. I’ve played sports my entire life and have always been a person that keeps the room light and keeps everyone together. I think I could excel in a position where the product is good and it’s something that people actually need.

What I am bad at, I am not pushy. I don’t want anyone to do something that they don’t want to do & I don’t want to push someone to make a decision they’re not comfortable with.

How did you become interested? Are you like me? Or does it sound like I am naive (I am)
Seems like every time I look for a job my colleagues suggest a sales position.

I am currently a quality assurance auditor at a large health information company. So I look at data all day. I don’t talk to anyone.

Hello. I am looking to have a design made for a goalie mask. Who have you used? I have a local place that will wrap it. I am only looking for the design

Hi, I am here to ask some opinions from people that are into the gear more than I am.

I have owned some very nice masks. Bauer 960, Warwick, coveted, new image, etc. my ears always ring when I get hit in the helmet. I recently bought a very expensive custom helmet, molded to my head from a company that makes masks for the NHL (I am sure you can put the pieces together). Spent $2200 all in. Got it on the ice tonight. Got hit in the mask. Ears still ringing.

I have seen other people say they don’t have any ringing when they get hit. How do I get that? The mask is beautiful and I beleive fits me correctly. I am in the A division. It is more competitive in the summer. During the winter it is low level pro guys and aged out college players. Still good but there are harder shooters out there. I asked the other goalies in the league but most of them aren’t as into the masks as they are the gloves and pads.

I am looking for a new job.

Currently employed as a QA controller for a health information technology company. Essentially what I do all day is make sure that people’s health information is appropriately protected - by state, federal and facility guidelines. (look at release for protected health information, QA it. Approve / deny. document findings. move on). I have been in this field for 7 years.
