Dirt impacting in mouth??

I came back from a eeek long trip an my friend was watching my gecko for me. I noticed he had this stuck dirt in his mouth, is there a way I can get it out or what can I do? He seems to be moving around fine what I’ve noticed but I can’t imagine this is good. Can I give him a soak?

Pain in mouth while eating?

This is butters. I’ve been feeding him for about five years now at work and someone tnrd him before me (thank u!!) and he is a true feral when I first came across him. He has recently been letting me pet him but still runs away when walking towards. I noticed he had been having trouble eating a while back. I usually mix kibble with wet food for them. So I then started feeding him purely wet food and would mix in water to make sure he would get some hydration. As of recently I’ve noticed he’s been having trouble with only wet food as well. He is obviously in pain when eating and I’m not sure what it is. I think he is an older guy from observation and the way he moves but I’m not sure. Either way if yall know or have suggestions on what to do it would be super helpful. If most of the answers are taking him to a vet that is something I’m open to. There would be a few difficulties with that. First I would have to talk to a vet that I took some of my tnrs to that are more domesticated and let strangers handle them. I would have to try and trap him and take him in. If that’s possible he would probably need medication? He’s not a cat that can be handled. And if all of this is possible I will have to figure out cost issues, if anything I will probably start a donation or gofundme. There is nothing wrong with him that I can see except this, and I really don’t think he needs to be euthanized (unless the vet says otherwise) and I know it’s starting to bother him a lot. Sometimes he doesn’t even finish his food because he’s in pain but I know he’s hungry. He’ll come back and try to eat again but is in pain so bad that he’s not able to. If anyone knows or has suggestions it would be super helpful. I feel really bad because I know he’s in pain while eating but he’s also hungry. Thanks a lot!
