Because Authentic Indian Films are too different from Gloabal Taste, and anyone who tries ends up losing their core audience as well.

Even other global films like Parasite or Everything Everywhere All at Once are only popular in cinephile circles.

And Avengers/Spiderman is just a young person thing irrespective of country…our parents aren’t watching that shit.

Either do it well or get someone else to it,

Even smaller foreign films like Sisu or Furious released but nothing from A24.

Earlier it didn’t matter but now they had The Drama, The Invite, and now Tony. And I had to wait for digital, and by that time half the film is ruined.

Even Neon films release here just fine.

Firstly, he released trailer early in morning(5 am) to make it convenient for western countries.

He is releasing the film two days earlier in west.

And blocked English trailer here.

And film doesn’t even look Indian, it’s made to pander western tastes.

It’s all colonial hangover, trying to impress them while treating your own people as inferior.

So go have it, I don’t care about this shit and seems like they(western countries) don’t care either.
