All my pickups so far for 2026. Yes, I included my docs even though they’re not sneakers. Those are third party laces I got on them. And for those who are curious on what makes the made in Japan chucks different: thicker canvas, additional layer for a more structured and more durable heel counter, thicker and deeper rubber grooves and outsole, the rubber tape/vamp comes up much higher, and I believe also slightly thicker cushioning.

As for the others, that green pair is the Seoul exclusive Adidas Superstar II, and that’s the Pokemon x Puma Mimikyu Inverse pair (they’re really comfy as well). It was quite a long hunt for the Puma pair, but it’s so worth it! And speaking of Seoul, I got both the Adidas Superstar and the 85 Royals from an Adidas and Nike outlet while I was in Seoul, 50% and 45% off retail respectively.

Got these pair of 1460s from my recent trip to Japan. They’re the crazy horse leather variant in cherry red (which is more like a maroon or a shade of brown due to the suede like texture of the upper). I’ve been sneakerhead for the last 10 years and I never thought of getting a pair of boots till now, and I absolutely love them! I now also want to work my way up to a pair of Red Wings or Paraboots, but till then these pair of Docs will definitely see a lot of use from me. And I might just add a couple more pairs of Docs.

I also did lace swap them, got the laces from a third party seller online, I think they go well with this pair. What are your thoughts?

I named her Chiquitita cause she’s my precious little girl. Yes, named after both Abba’s song and the Spanish term itself. She’ll forever be my favorite Gen 2 starter.

Got these two kits from my recent trip to Japan. Both builds were fun. The MG Full Armor ZZ wasn’t a complex build, but it took a long time to finish simply due to its parts count, but it’s very much worth it in the end. It isn’t really a poser cause articulation is limited esp in full armor mode, but that’s not what you get this kit for. Its primary job is to stand there and have an insanely good shelf presence and that it very much excels in. It’s big, chunky, intimidating and I love it! And yes, it is pretty much just the MG Enhanced ZZ Gundam but with the addition of the FAZZ Ver Ka’s armor and hyper mega cannon in the ZZ colors, as well as longer feet to support the added weight. It also does transform accdg to the reviews I’ve seen (I haven’t transformed it yet), but the forearms don’t fold in to reveal thrusters. You can do that here as they include the parts for it, but you’re gonna have to choose between that and the default non transforming arms as there’s only one set of polycaps for both. You’re gonna have to transplant it to the other setup if you want to transform it. And my only gripe with the kit is that the hands suck. The fingers pop off easily. I also still don’t like water slide decals, I still prefer standard stickers or dry transfers over water slides. They’re just a hassle to put on and some just remove too easily. Other than those two, no other complaints, and I absolutely love the kit.

Same goes for the HG Mighty Strike Freedom. This kit is rock solid, surprisingly weighty, and is just simply awesome. Katana, double sided beam saber, dual guns that combine, and a slick white, gold and black colorway with hits of red. This guy is both elegant and cool at the same time, and absolutely loaded.
