Finally making the jump to a serious projector. Hoping to get something without alot of bells and whistles, essentially just want the HDMI and audio out. The price range for this guy is good for me especially with the refurbished model. Seems like refurbished might be the way to go since it's likely they've fixed any day0 issues. Let me know if this model is solid or if I should reconsider. Its going to be part of a mobile set up with various light conditions and throw lengths.

Are there any established modern symbols for chemicals that we use more often today like caffeine, nicotine, THC, ect...? Similar to alchemical symbols? Specifically working on a spell for attracting LSD. I can make my own symbols, just curious if there was a consensus.

I work as a lower manager at a restaurant. I often grapple with my spiritual place as far as work goes. Alot of the time Im frustrated with the capitalist nature of working for a larger company. I feel bad that our food is overpriced and not all that healthy. I wonder if I would be better off seeking out something more gratifying or at least with less stumbling blocks to helping people. Not to mention the harm to animals and the environment I see through the food process.

But at the same time, I am being of service. I work hard, clean well, give other people space and breaks to not be working as hard. I'm always polite even to rude costumers. I give away food when I feel I can get away with it. And I'm never dishonest with people about our food or policies. Alot of the time I'm dealing with interpersonal issues with the staff that the higher ups ignore, so alot of my job is making sure the employees are comfortable and getting along. And I make enough money to keep my family comfortable but I could push for a better paying job.

I'm a accumulating negative karma for participating in industry and capitalism? Or am I doing good with the life I find myself in? Where is the line of accountability? Not everyone can be a monk.

I've asked this question around before and I haven't gotten a definitive answer so hopefully being more specific will help. I'm trying to build a madu with a short on one side and a dagger on the other. My question is how do you measure the handle length for each weapon including the shield. If you go by the explicit measurements for dagger and short, considering the overlap you can only have about a 16 inch shield if you are counting half the shield for each handle. If you have to measure the whole shield as part of the handle, the shield could only be like 8inches across for a max dagger. It seems strange to max out a small shield at that size. Do you just measure to the base of the striking surface? I'm trying to get it as long as possible to use for a summoner druid kit.
