Streaming services that place ads in terrible places

Six minute ad breaks in the middle of sentences is ridiculously unacceptable.

Shows have scenes, in between two scenes is where a BRIEF commercial break goes.

This has been formulaic for broadcast television for decades, nearly a century.

It's not complicated, it's not some secret proprietary knowledge, watch one show and it's obvious how to monetize it with ads without making it unwatchable.

I sincerely think they were onto something here

This was a funny bit, but I think the industry is leaving money on the table by not having a show where you can actually vote to kill off characters or choose what happens next, who gets a big break or something.

Batman voice off

Gender as a social construct and the spectrum of sexual preference are deeply rooted concepts in my mind as a result of this scene.

Happy Holiday, you feral meatcats!

Lady Gaga, table for 3, amirite?

Jerry C-131 makes fun of Rick and the kids for wearing these collars at the end of Rickle in Time, S2E1.

The very next episode, Rick and Morty drop Jerry off at the Jerryboree because Rick didn't know Jerry was in the backseat of the car, in plain sight, the whole time Morty was learning to drive.

No, I think Rick orchestrated the switch because of Jerry's impromptu roast session.

We need to normalize secular words for things that religious people think are inherently spiritual in nature.

The title sentence contains my first example, "spiritual." I would not consider myself spiritual by any stretch of the imagination, but religious people conceptualize the word in a way that includes some of any person's everyday life, plus the supernatural part.

So, when we claim to not be spiritual, the layperson thinks we are inherently lacking something.

I think it would be more appropriate to use a secular word.

Any thoughts/suggestions?
