Thoughts on Ender Chest storage buff

In the SMPs I play on, there's usually a plugin that makes Ender Chests have double the amount of storage, so I was wondering if this would be a great addition to vanilla Minecraft.

It's really convenient, and from my observation, no one has complained about the e-chest plugins, so safe to say it doesn't negatively affect anyone in the SMPs.

Played WT after 6 months of avoiding it

It's relatively the same.. I'd say there are a bunch of downgrades.

One of my favourite tanks, the Armata, got cannon nerfed?? Wtf???

Tablets can't be opened when skydiving or swimming, the dev that thought that was a good idea, is a bum.

Drone tanks. Wonderful, a new thing to make cash grabs out of.

The oxygen system is simply ass, how am I supposed to escape vehicles or set ambushes up without having to cover my beautiful avatar with that abysmal suit. Not to mention the terrible overlay you get from going underwater with a dive suit.

Tried the EMBT out, had fun with it, but its still premium slop.

And finally, of course how could we forget about the endless bugs that still persist in the game, the Devs probably do it intentionally so they can play hero when they "fix" them.

Pedestal Block

The Pedestal should be added as a decorative that displays items. This would be useful for trophy rooms where items like dragon eggs, rare loot, and personal valuables would be displayed. They emit a light level of 5.

Right clicking the block will open a GUI that shows where the item you want to display goes, and a cycle for the orientation of the item, whether you want it to float in the air, or you want it stabbed into the pedestal (good for swords).

I got the idea from MC:SM, the Order room has gold blocks as pedestals.

Wandering Traders spawn in abandoned camps

After sleeping near an abandoned camp, a wandering trader should spawn near it the next day.

If a wandering trader is present within 6 chunks, it won't spawn a new one, but if it is absent, it will spawn a new one.

Ocean rock layers

I'm making a suggestion about an Ocean update that changes how the terrain generates (more features, bigger block palette blah blah). One of the things I thought of was; prismarine replacing stone as the natural rock that generates in the ocean bed. In deeper oceans, I intend (reworked) dark prismarine to spawn instead of deepslate.

I think there will be conflict about how ores generate and how prismarine interacts with granite, diorite, andesite, and other stone-like blocks.

What do you guys think?

  1. Should prismarine and dark prismarine cover stone and deepslate for at least 6 blocks vertically and horizontally? (Intended for smaller ocean biomes, this question is targeted for deep oceans which should go a little deeper than Y0)

  2. Should prismarine and dark prismarine completely replace stone and deepslate in deep oceans, and have their own ore variants (great for farming build materials, it's the direction I want to go to)

  3. Prismarine shouldn't replace stone or deepslate at all (BORING).

  4. Other solution.

The Hammer

Summary

The hammer is a useful building tool, that could change the way some blocks look and work simply by right clicking.

Basic Mechanics and Uses

Interaction with common blocks - Blocks like stone and deepslate could be shattered into their cobbled forms.

Interaction with bricks and tiles - Right clicking them with a hammer will turn them into their cracked variant.

Interactions with infested blocks - Right clicking them with a hammer will shake silverfish out of the block.

Interactions with redstone blocks - Right clicking them with a hammer will remove their functionality, "breaking" the contraptions, though it can be reverted simply by right clicking again. I'm actually unsure what it could do to redstone blocks, so I have this idea as a placeholder.

Interactions with workstations - Right clicking a workstation with a hammer will disable its ability to give villagers a profession.

Interactions with glass and ice blocks - Hammers can break these blocks quickly, and when enchanted with Efficiency III, it will instantly break any glass/ice related blocks.

Interactions in combat - Hammers are pretty bad in combat since it's even slower than an axe, but the blunt force damage can deteriorate the opponent's armor durability, and disable shields.

How to Obtain

It can be made out of any material that existing tools currently use.

FORGET ABOUT THE CRAFTING RECIPE HERE, I posted a new one in the comments. https://www.reddit.com/r/minecraftsuggestions/s/nxQH3v43b0

Crossbow Enchants

I believe Crossbows need a broader set of enchantments. They only have 3 exclusive enchants, even the Trident has more enchants than that...

Velocity (I-V)

This enchant retains the crossbow projectile's velocity (and damage output) by 10% per level. It is the crossbow alternative for Power.

Spalling (I-IV) [Cannot be paired with Piercing]

This enchant bypasses raw armor protection by 20% per level. This enchant would make crossbows super useful in late-game combat, since it would likely deal meaningful damage to Netherite juggernauts (unless they have Projectile Protection). It is even more effective with fireworks as the projectile. It is the crossbow alternative for Breach.

Bang (I-III) [Cannot be paired with Multishot, Velocity, and Piercing]

This enchant is a little interesting.. Upon firing an arrow, the recoil is strong enough to push you back a few blocks, essentially making it a mobility tool. At level 1, the recoil would push you 2 blocks into the air, each level increases that value by 2 blocks, meaning you could fly a total of 6 blocks per shot. It might put wind charges out of business so similarly to lunge, it should take a large chunk of durability from the crossbow.

No more dying to the void with a Bang Crossbow.

Ender Pearl interactions with Bows and Arrows.

Pearl gets hit with an arrow from unenchanted bow --> Triggers teleportation

Pearl gets hit with an arrow from a punch enchanted bow --> Redirects the pearl

Pearl gets hit with an arrow from a flame enchanted bow --> Triggers teleportation and sets the pearl user on fire

If the bow is enchanted with both flame and punch, punch will override flame's effect.

Many people might say it's pointless because who shoots at pearls??? cough cough totally not me cough

The Rock

Rocks should be added to Minecraft.

Rocks can be obtained by putting 1 cobblestone or cobbled deepslate in a crafting grid.

They can be thrown to deal damage to mobs (maybe one heart worth of damage), or used as decorations, so people don't have to rely on buttons as substitutes.

They could be used for various crafting recipes too, such as an alternative recipe for gravel.

Just a reminder that kashimo lost to a holding back hakari

Your favourite character actively tried to kill hakari 4 different times and lost to a man who wasn’t allowed to go for the kill because he needed the farmer’s points and still kashimo lost

CT: Lag Manipulation

Whenever I play games with my friends, I always get laughed at for being SO laggy. One of them told me it might be my "cursed technique" and that got me wondering... How would a lag based technique even work? I've thought about this one for weeks though I've never actually written it down, here's how I think it'd work.

Summary and Basic Mechanics

Lag manipulation allows the user to manifest a ping and FPS based system into the real world. The user could steal a target's FPS and transfer ping to them through contact. The user could continuously stack FPS and ping to react and move faster than the opponent.

The target doesn't have to be a living human, lag manipulation can also work on objects or mediums. This can allow the user to mimic Infinity in a way, by constantly slowing down the surroundings, though that would likely require S tier refinement or the Six Eyes.

The user can also target physics. Perhaps they could stack kinetic energy and store it as potential energy by lagging the inertia of movements(?), replicating Yuki's cursed technique to an extent.

This could be the lag manipulator's most destructive capability, they could level several city blocks just by releasing the kinetic energy they stored whilst running at Mach 5.

Blowback

When the user fails to fulfill conditions, their ping might spike and their FPS might drop. This might be seen in scenarios involving unfulfilled binding vows or a failed domain.

Domain

The domain expansion could simply drain the opponent's FPS and drastically increase their ping. The frames are absorbed by the domain user, and their ping is totally transferred to the enemy without the need of contact.

The domain could have an interesting trait where during a domain clash, it can lapse (or lag) in and out of existence, causing the opposing domain to take over briefly, and get overrun by the lag domain replacing the opposing domain's barrier with its own. However, the domain would still be vulnerable to open domains like MS.

Imitation of other techniques

With enough creativity (and refinement), this technique could effectively imitate;

Projection Sorcery - By cramming frames to move across distances faster, and freezing opponents by absorbing their frames, as well as increasing their ping. Lag users could accelerate indefinitely by storing inertia.

Limitless (Infinity) - By slowing down the area surrounding the user.

Bom ba ye - By slowing down inertia, energy can be stored indefinitely within the user, and it can be released into a different attack, increasing its "mass" or "weight".

Would Kashimo's domain save him?

If Kashimo had a domain, would it save him from the effects of MBA?

We all know after a domain is dispelled or shattered, it'll cause technique burnout, so if Kashimo had a domain and used it while MBA is activated, would it or would it not deactivate MBA?

I think it can go three ways;

  1. His technique gets completely deactivated and reversed, effectively saving him from turning into pure energy.

  2. His technique gets completely deactivated but it doesn't reverse the damage, basically killing Kashimo quicker.

  3. Something similar to Uro's burnout happens, his technique doesn't completely vanish but he can't utilize it's full power for X amount of time.

What do you think is the most likely? I think it's #3.

Kashimo Is Such a Lame "Strongest" Character

Imagine if Sukuna had Yuta level physicals, no domain, no rct, no feats of insane jujutsu knowledge, and nothing setting him apart from the heavy hitters besides being able to oneshot people with cleave, or in Kashimos case, his sure-hit lightning. Imagine how much lamer Gojo would be if died after using Infinity, purple, or red, and did nothing but crush people with blue, not even using its other applications. I don't see Kashimo creating basketball domain, cursed technique reset, or using one handed domain. He does nothing besides lightly sting people, use bullshit hax and then has the audacity to whine about everyone being weaker than him like he wouldn't be on their level without his oneshot.

Kashimo is just a hax merchant walking around pretending that he's this 500iq jujutsu phenom like Gojo and Sukuna.

Lodestone indicator for how far the destination is

This could apply to pretty much every type of compass!

There should be an indicator for how far you are from your destination, maybe something close to a durability bar, but its bar goes down the closer you are to your destination. For a more precise reading maybe they could put "6767 blocks away" in the tooltips, to show how far the lodestone, respawn, or death point is.

We all love our pets and would like to take them outside for a walk or for a fight, but the thing is, aside from the aesthetics, there's practically no reason to bring them out because they're usually useless in combat (aside from horses because they pair well with spears).

I'm talking mainly about wolves. Wolves got their own armor but they still remain largely unused in combat, even for casual players. I suggest giving wolves different types of attacks to make them far more useful and viable in attacking even players who are clad in Netherite armor.

Bite

•The basic wolf attack that we see currently.

•Nothing much can be done aside from improved pathfinding and better animations.

Muzzle Hold

•The wolf clings onto a target's face and bites it continuously, dealing 1-4 heart(s) of damage per second.

•It can cling for 10 seconds, or until it is hit 3 times by the target.

•Great for blinding opponents, opening opportunities to attack them while the wolf is distracting them.

•This could also be a new attack for Spiders.

Pull Bite

•The wolf bites onto the opponent's leg to slow them down.

•It doesn't do much damage, but it slows enemies down a lot.

Lunge

•The wolf tackles the target to deal knockback.

•Great for traps.

Some Extra Mechanics (+Notes)

In addition to these new attacks, some buffs should be made to the HP stats of tamed wolves.

As they grow and kill more enemies, they should gain more experience, their attack strength and speed will gradually improve the more they mature.

I don't have many ideas when it comes to the cat and axolotl, so please share yours in the comments.

The Shell Shock could be the first shulker variant in MC.

What can it do?

It is a hostile mob that rapidly shoots bursts of 3 electric projectiles to a targeted player, just like how Blazes shoot 3 fireballs at a time. These projectiles are as fast as a wind charge and have a linear path. It can give a status effect called shocked, it damages you as slow as the wither effect does, but it constantly resets your attack cooldown, shell shock projectiles should give you a 3 second status effect.

What does it look like?

It looks like a yellow shulker, trimmed with the bolt smithing template.

Where is it found?

It can fit perfectly in a trial chamber themed structure in the End, like an End Labyrinth full of Shellshocks and normal Shulkers working together to guard loot, or an End gateway?

What can it drop?

It should drop two items; the thunder bolt and the bolt scute. The thunder bolt is a jagged, bright yellow rod that can be crafted into thunder charges, which are essentially just the mob's projectiles. The bolt scute can be crafted into a thunderplate, a chestplate that grants immunity against thunder charges and the shocked status effect. And additionally, it should have the most blast protection out of any base armor. The thunderplate could alternatively be something you trim into armor using an upgrade template you can find inside the structure Shell Shocks spawn in, because chestplates are very important in combat, it would be nicer having a zap-proof Netherite chestplate trimmed with it.

Final Notes (+Mechanics)

They cannot teleport, so how do they move? They simply roll like how blocks did on the recent April fool's update. They can still stick to walls, maybe from magnetic energy..?

I think a lot of people would agree on me with this. It is SOOO annoying having fishermen use barrels, I always use it on builds, and even in stashes on economy SMPs, it's super annoying having villagers invade my homes/stash rooms just to become a fisherman.

Can't they just get their own workstation like a fishing basket thingy? Maybe a kitchen-esque workstation that cuts food into bits? Anything that isn't barrels or campfires 😭

Freight (I - III) is mainly a utility enchant, it allows the user to have 3 extra inventory slots per level. The maximum level of Freight allows you to carry one more row of items.

What happens if you remove the chestplate..?

Instead of it throwing your stuff to the ground upon removal, the inventory slots just become locked. You may only get them once you equip the chestplate again, or any other chestplate with the freight enchant.

This would be super handy since items put on the extra slots freight gives, aren't bound to your inventory, so upon death, you can equip a freight chestplate to access those items. Sounds pretty OP to have a chestplate storage cloud, so maybe the items should be bound to your inventory instead of the enchantment.

(The reason why it's not bound to the chestplates themselves is because I don't like the idea of it becoming a better bundle...)

Combat Applications.

Freight will knock mobs back the faster you're going. If you bump into an entity, it'll be pushed or knocked back.

I think it's pretty interesting, but it'd be very annoying for traditional combat, so you could see this as a way to debuff the enchant.
