Can I get a used M4 air at Nehru Place without getting scammed?🥀

Can I get a used M4 air at Nehru Place without getting scammed?🥀

Need honest advice- can I get a used M4 air 16/256 in Nehru Place at a decent price being a NP virgin?

I have never owned a Mac before and have no experience buying a 2nd hand laptop. I have never stepped foot in Nehru Place either.

New M4s are all out of stock while online resellers are scarce and quoting M4 air 16/256 for 90k+.
Is there any chance of getting it at NP or am I setting myself up for a wasted day or worse a scam?

If yes, what checks should I do to make sure it’s legit?

Should I return my gel 1130s and get quantum 360 I as an everyday shoe?

Gel 1130s at 4.4k or Gel Quantum 360 i at 10k?

This black and blue colourway looks sick and flipkart is giving a pretty good price. My only concern is the 360s being too heavy or not as suited for all day wear as the 1130s.

Was also thinking of keeping the 1130s as the sports/casual and getting a black speedcat or OT for occasions.

Solo 10 days itinerary for deeper culture and a more raw exploration

Hi everyone, I’ve compiled a rough list of places to cover in 10 days after going through a bunch of posts on this sub and talking to a couple of tour guides. Need suggestions on solo accessibility, route optimisation, stay availability and safety from people who know the ground.

Quick context: solo, planning to get around on a scooty (shared cab only when absolutely necessary). Very interested in learning the culture in offbeat villages (without being intrusive) experiencing the slow life of the locals, natural/swimmable pools, and quieter hikes (nothing sketchy-remote though, since I’m alone).

Would tick off any famous spots on the way but not interested in running from attraction to attraction.

Rough list (not a fixed itinerary)

∙ Day 0: Guwahati → Umiam (if it’s worth stopping) → Laitumkhrah stay

∙ 1 day around Mawbeh: rock bridges, natural pools, day hikes

∙ 2–3 days around Mawrah — hikes, pools, maybe fishing, and just hanging back to get a feel for village life (stay in Homestay)

∙ 1–2 days Kongthong / Krowheiar — living root bridges, waterfalls, hikes (stay in Homestay)

∙ 1–2 days Pynter — mainly for the music and local musicians (stay in Homestay)

∙ 1 day Sohra: Tick off the famous spots worth going and wander around if any locals suggest hidden places there itself

∙ Mawsynram if possible

Other stuff slotted in where it’s on the way or really worth going: Seven Sisters, Phe Phe, Umsynthai, Rangblang, Wei Sawdong, Arwah, maybe Mawlyngbna / Mawsynram,

∙ Day 10: back to Guwahati

Questions:

  1. I’d rather properly soak in 4–5 places than rush the whole state and spend all my time in transit. So which places can I club together, where should I spend longer and which ones are skippable?

  2. Are there safe homestays in the smaller villages (esp. Mawrah, Kongthong, Pynter)? Any you’d personally vouch for?

  3. Which of these places genuinely need a local guide (offbeat villages / culture / treks) vs where can I safely wander on my own?

  4. Anything here that’s risky solo, or not doable on a scooty in monsoon?

  5. Which offbeat + famous spots pair up well geographically, so I don’t miss too many big ones but still get the slow village time and hidden hikes/waterfalls I’m after?

Tldr; 10 days solo, want to explore deeper village culture and hidden hikes/waterfalls adventure, while staying safe and also ticking off a few famous stops but not interested in attraction hopping.

Used AI to optimise presentation.

Thanks!

Can I use this to charge my pocket 4P?

Specially that inbuilt cable? Are there any risks to the battery?

Osmo 4p accessories in India

Leaving for a trip in a week, the imported ones all show 10-15 days delivery time. Any recommendations for a full body or at least gimbal protection hardcase for P4p available in India or somewhere I can get them earlier? I can only find accessories for P4.

Any other useful accessories that enable more creative POV shots with the 4p like an attachable arm or smth that you recommend buying?

How do I get the pocket 4p in India?

Need the pocket 4p before 10th August in Delhi for a much awaited trip. Any legit stores or sources? Designinfo is not providing warranty. Kamal imaging has it listed for 98k, should I pay that or better options are available?

Any idea when it might be available officially in India?

Best places to explore Meghalaya culture and deep offbeat villages?

I am planning a 10 day Meghalaya solo trip in mid August. Very interested in exploring local culture, meeting locals, understanding their lives and documenting them, offbeat hikes (that are safe in monsoon), calm water bodies to swim in. Don’t want to go many tourist attractions, would be great if I get to go deeper into the villages as long as it’s safe enough and non intrusive.

Any suggestions what parts I should plan to visit other than Ofcourse the well known ones? I plan to make a documentary as well but will see how it goes. I can go and stay in some these places as well if it’s safe to do so rather than basing myself only in Shillong.

Also, how much rain should I expect, will a non waterproof camera survive? And do the Assam floods affect the plan?

Thanks
